    Is everything sexual with you?

This was actually an honest serious question. Your hypocritical posts don't need to be here, unless you can actually contribute. Sorry if this sounds like trollin, but you're kind of annoying.

But that doesn't explain WHY certain groups of people have certain accents..

Because some person thought it was cool to sound 'different' whilst speaking and there, accents have grown stronger and have been inherited.

    Just my guess though lul

    Lets try this again.

What physically makes someone speak differently than someone else, depending on where they come from?

Tongue shape, size, muscles (Which can be slightly different since for some accents you use some more and some less).
I don't know yet if there is a brain problem too. (Some can do tongue tricks without having special tongues, so could be neurological too, just as left/right handing)

Shiiet, now we're getting somewhere. That does actually make a lot of sense. That can't be the only factor in a different sounding dialect, though, can it?

    This might help too.

The girl who wanted to speak Korean as a native had to cut the part of skin, like a string, that connects the tongue to the mouth's lower part. This made it longer tho.

The idea is that the little thing stopped her from having a good accent.

Pretty sure I dont want to know how you get an accent. Just want to know what causes certain people to have one.

Uh where i live there is.. "rich" english talk and there's.. "commoner" talk xD

I think you "gain" an accent by living in that area, speaking to people, being at school in that area, etc. Things that are social

also, i think how accents started was just some person who thought it would be cool to talk their langauge differently. Lol
