Traps work fine, sleep/silence work fine, stuns work fine, his dps is fine...Check his dps against an eat user (3:38mins)

I would like to see rangers fixed on gamez aion, despite this is useless to try to prove they are nerfed but...at least enjoy the video...

the problem is, on retail Mr is capped at 2k mr here isn't yet and ranger traps have own MA

so stop acting for strengthening rangers' dps because they already force me to go defense and heal my ass off until their burst is done

ppl don't even need 1.9K+ mr to resist to every trap/sleep/silence, and MA doesn't influence traps' MA on gamez.
About rangers' dps...i didn't implement special effects on his video...check by yourself ^^

 

Ranger traps are kind of trashy on here because they get resisted i will agree with that much. As for the silence sleep and stuns sorry but they work fine here. Also, as full abg i often get hit by stunning shot 2.5k and rupture 2.5k, that means i already take 5k damage in 1 chain, i think thats enough Oo

 

My ex played Ranger on retail, good times. He couldn't play it here because they were so different.

2.5 my ranger did 4k-5.5k dmg with stun shot 2.6 im doing 1-2k dmg >_> GG.

Oh and all my traps miss <3 so thats gone silence arrow never lands and sleep arrow bearly lands

Actually on second thought there might be something wrong with rangers.

On retail i played ranger (i got up to level 43) and with my lvl 30 abyss gear combined with some level 33 gold crafted armor i could actually decently fight a level 40 gladiator that had full level 40 elite gear. Now about gamez, i have played every class and rangers never were a threat to me, ever

 

This is not a qq thread...but more a comparaison beetween rangers on retail and on gamez. As this server aim to be "retail-like", this video can show you how this class isn't "retail-like" on this server.

So no, this is not a qq thread but more a thread wich could help the community, Help more than your flaming/useless posts.

Mr on retail is capped at 2.0k ? I didn't heard about such a thing .

Traps are working fine and i would say that mr to . Cuz there are clerics / sorcs witch got tons of mr ... thats totaly smth else . It dosen't mean that is bugged .

 

First: I know chanters are nerfed on gamez too, but this thread is about rangers and not "chanters".

second: traps don't work fine at all. And no, this is more subtle than a simple
"this is because we have abg/mr users on gamez"...this answer is just the easiest.


Check simca's build on this video. he doesn't even need any MA stone to make his traps working against everyone.

On gamez, even if you put full MA, your traps would get resisted by most of players.
Don't you think there is a problem?

Is not the easiest actuali . I find it as the pure truth . Abg is giving insane ammount of basic magic resist . You can't compare a vid from retail vs a vid from gamez . And ye macc is a important stat for a ranger .
@ traps . The title of this thread has nothing to do with the ranger traps thats why my repli was at it was >.> .
And on my abg glad i got 1.5k basic mr . I can't resist traps at all . I doubt that one of those guyz that were killed in that vid have even 1.5k mr ...

He dose not have problems with magic resist . The only problems is the ammount of mr that the gamez players got vs the retail players .

if it makes you feel better my gladi was suffering a lot from traps yesterday... everytime i charged i got snared or slept
i have full abg and 1.5k mr... and it did go off on me
just stop it man.. with my cleric i cant even take 2 rangers at once and barely 1 if he is really good

when i played the sin i stacked MA to 1.6k man
