About Xfire (the program, not crossfiring lol)

Anyone using it to record gameplay?

Cause the 30 second thing with fraps is kinda annoying...

Anyway, I have xfire, just that, when I press scroll lock + v nothing happens? Is there something else that needs to be done to use it with AION? Or does it just not work?

Meh, I can live with the 30 second footage, it's just annoying that's all.

 

Go to Tools -> Options -> Video and make the settings there first. Also there you can assign the Start/Stop to another key, Scroll Lock + V is annoying.

 

Yeah, tried changing it to other keys, ones that weren't binded to anything else. Still no luck.

I have everything enabled too
AND! It says Aion is compatible with xfire in-game?

I'm having the same issue. It detects the game when i run it from the NCSoft launcher (Official Aion) but it doesn't detect it when i run it from the GamezAion launcher or any other launcher. I tried to change the path but it gives me an error >.>

If anyone find a solution , please let me know. For now , i'm gonna search for a cracked fraps version coz this can't get any further , retarded speedhackers run for 1 minute + and u can't record them , u don't even know when the video stopped by itself.. if u press f9 while it's not stopped u won't record anything , u'll just stop the recording.. and if u press f9 and wait too much , u will record just half of the fight.

Changing your xfire to detect pserv Aion is easy, just go to xfire program-> tools-> options-> games, and set it to manual detect, then change the detect path to wherever your aion.bin is located. For me it'd be... "d:\program files (x86)\Aion\bin32\aion.bin"

Just remember to not launch aion through xfire, or it'll open ncsoft launcher
