How can we surpass the speed of light?
    very easy indeed...

We get on a moving train and we light a torch, the light of the torch will travel with the speed of light...plus the speed of the train!

What will we see if we run faster than light and turn back?

    ourself coming!!!

OP is appearing more and more like a troll to me.

The OP is right, but probably not in the way he thinks.

First of all, the ray of light coming from the flashlight is not moving at the speed of light. The "speed of light" as measured in a vacuum is almost 300,000 m/sec, but the speed of that particular ray of light is impeded by particles in the air, forcing the individual photons to take a zig-zag path through the air. So in accordance with OP's post, yes, you can go faster than the speed of a ray of light.

Secondly (and finally), the question of if it were ever possible to catch up to a light beam (move at the speed of light), has already been answered by Einstein. It's the question that had been haunting him throughout his youth and during his young adulthood. The answer he came up with was... a resounding no. It is impossible to catch up to a light beam.

I won't go in to depth about why this is true, I will merely state that Einstein's theory of general relativity is based around this crucial observation. This theory has been repeatedly tested and validated.

I was just very interested in astronomy when I was younger, so I read in to this stuff alot. Now, I just play video games...
As for why I am suddenly posting on the forum, I'm moving to university tomorrow and packed everything up, just killing time until I got to go.

Nope that s not the reason... allthough u make some valid claims like that light speed is based on observasion. The problem with my theory is elsewhere. I m using a Neuton's theory about systems to discribe something that cannot be discribed by Newton's physics. Systems are invalid when light speed is involved.

The speed of light is a limit WITH OUR CURRENT means of observation. New theoriescome up and there are a lot i astronomy we cannot understand eg a black whole is so strong that not even light escapes it s grasp. Sayig what u said is like saying the world and research stoped when E=mc2 was proven. I m sure not even Einstein himself will aggree with that and with you

As to whether I m a troll, i told u again in another thread. THIS IS HOT SPAM SECTION we ARE supposed to troll here for fun...

So how much time is needed to reach Andromeda Galaxy travelling with lightspeed? years
It only takes a second in my mind to think about Andromeda and I m there allready...Therefore

Thought is faster than lightspeed! hihihi

Who says i want people to believe me?

I said black whole? lol...well according to physics black holes aren t holes they r objects with massive gravity so black whole is in fact a better term...but it was indeed a typo so

...replace the l with an r !!! OMFG

Yes, allthough it s at the brink of sanity i believe in a way it does make sense...i only don t like the immense mass it souds a bit racist..

let s say tight mass instead?
and the light doesn t serve our purpose well either replace with

    the righteous

White holes in the universe are very jealous of black holes because nothing escapes from the black holes so the white holes are left deserted wo something to fill them!

White holes, subathe for hours during summer so they become similar to black holes ad therefore boost their gravitational field
