Nerf Shadowburst/Lightburst, or I quit

well, u raise a valid point there on how it is easy to get those things you mentioned......

well, for one thing, this is i notice a private server....where every one can donate or vote himself to get his gear if he wants to.....so its not the fault of the players if they can get those things u mentioned if they have the means to do so......

another thing that you probably "missed" to point out is that those "OP" skills like shadowburst and lumiel had a cd time of one hour so after casting that"op"skill, we sorcs have to wait again for it to be use. also we just use it when ELYOS ZERG FEST IS GOING ON..... so that the damage will have a great effect of the zerg itself since it consist mostly glads, templars and sm and rangers and so forth....

also to the ts point that most asmos are usually sorc, well, that is our only good answer to the frequent "ELYOS ZERG FEST' that is frequently going on in inggi or anywhere else.....the ts and to those others who wants to nerf again the sorcs or for that matter, asmos sorcs, they must be honest enough to admit that the balance of the population here in gamez are overwhelming elyos......so wat do you want us to do????convert also to elyos????

imagine, in inggi or heiron or beluslan or abyss, a party of 5-6 asmos will raid and kill some elyos, the responding elyos zergs will be mostly 10-20 players or more than double of the asmos itself....and you have the temerity to criticize asmos sorc???????

pls.....remember the time that the reason most of you played glads was because of your OP skills which up to now are still OP, you were getting that class and anybody with brain will notice that most qq here are mostly elyos glads......well, we always point out that you have to play ur class well and adapt......we asmos sorcs invest money to donate and vote so that we can be equipped and be at par with those OP class out there and its not our fault that we " as glass cannon" can pawn you in battle........

 

Shadow/Light burst Inflicts 2351(This damage is increased by stats/buffs/MB/foods) magical fire damage on a target within a 25m radius. Deals additional 3470(Additional damage is not supposed to be increased by buff's/Magic boost/foods, since its just additional damage IF and only IF the the target is an elyos or balaur) water damage. Formula is incorrect end of story.

 

Oh, to end my duty in this thread, about your title - "Nerf Shadowburst/Lightburst, or I quit". All I can say is: "Great, one less General that's not worth my time, as he's constantly running off the fight".

Edit: You ran away from my assassin once, as well. I used Deadly Focus, gotcha to 1/4, and you ran into your lovely Faction Raid zerg.

 

@coramor - well testers team knows that the formula is wrong so it will just be a matter of time till it gets fixed. one thing tho is that evilset seems to have the same formula through out the skills. so i guess testers just needed a retail proof to prove that the formula was over done.

 

u must be in like taha and anuhart stacking block manastones if you're saying this. The way MR/MA is right now rangers and sins aren't a problem for sorcs at all unless a group of 5 sins or rangers come out and gank 1 sorc they're not gonna die probably at all if they know how to use the class.

I usually don't run unless I see a sorc / greatly outnumbered / all skills on CD.

Okay, let's equip all classes with 1-hit KO skills with a 1-hour CD. That's fair, right?

Incorrect, some people may have switched to gladiator, but a lot of players play gladiator because they prefer that class.

Also, we're not OP. We have 1 OP skill which does almost as much damage as glacial shard if it crits and to six people. The rest of our "normal" skills do 200-600 damage.

Whereas for sorcerers, it's impossible to hit under 1,000.

Nerfing the damage is ugh, increasing its cooldown is best to suggest.

there are some players that says in retail is like (2351+mb + %pvp atk) + 3,470, means pvp atk does not increase the additional damage, dunno if its true...

 

shadowburst/lightburst can be resisted...i am ful ma lol and ranger just resisted my lightburst

oh god not another 1 of these threads jesh well stack elemental def if u dun wanna get 1 shoted, elemental def isnt even caped here in gamez so get acc and shit with it, i got shadowbursted 3 times today and survived em all lolz havent died to that noob skill in like weeks now sucks to be u also i pretty much failed with mines today note dun lightburst a chanter.. dosent even hurt them..
