to those who complain about op classes

i know sometimes u want to ragequit because you cant beat a certain class depending on what class you play no matter what you do. there is this little and forgotten fact that we all have to understand, Aion IS NOT based on 1vs1 pvp. ncsoft implemented a group pvp system in aion so it would be easier for them to work on each class op skills and make them vulnerable to other classes. they stated this fact since beta and they made it very clear. So...i ask, please stop QQing about not being able to beat another class,find a legion make a group go to the abyss and you will realize where real pvp starts,out there in the battlefield protecting your comrades, healing or supporting from the back, and most important of all...having fun! :kewl::love: good luck to you all out there.

what happens is that people take from wow a reference to every mmorpg ... they want to make pvp mainly 1V1 just because it is in wow

Group pvp is indeed a nice equalizer. But 1v1 pvp, even not dueling, also happens in this server. For that reason, class balance has to be considered.

 

when you say : class balance, do you mean server bugs or game mechanismes?

Well, both really. There are bugged skills and broken mechanics.

 

Anyone can mash some buttons few can strategize and play class well no matter the circumstance...

 

State this after they fix the massive amount of bugs and horrid damage forumals and messed up RnG

 

i`m not complaining about OP classes , i`m complaining about stupid kids like Aegis who are playing sorcs (bugged chars on this server) and thinks they`re pvp gods because they 1hit people

 

Sorc isnt bugged in any way. They do do that much in retail. But in retail sorcs don't have such high m acc, or they don't get 100% rates or all stigmas. That helps sorcs here a lot. Bugged classes are mostly melee classes and the SM who is essentially broken.

Well blindleap and wintry armor aren't working, both of which would make the class revolutionary...

Aside from that, I agree the class is 100% fine.

 

Rock believes scissors is just fine in pvp, but paper is OPed and needs a nerf.

You feel being able to pop cast time reductions that aren't supposed to stack so you can instant cast everything for 10 seconds is fine?

Really easy way to nerf sorcs: make glacial/flame/inferno have the same CD timer.

 

You're right, in this game some classes are at a disadvantage against certain classes, however on retail the game is still balanced. With the amount of broken skills here you'd have to be fucked up on drugs to claim that classes are still balanced, or that Sorcerers aren't overpowered. And until atk speed is fixed (Maxed at 0.6), so are rangers.

Better way to nerf sorcs: FIX MAGIC RESIST

 

Instead of that they could just fix it so that Boon of Quickness and Vaizel's Wisdom doesn't stack like it's suppose to.

Anyway imo classes are alot more imbalanced here in PvP than on retail because every class gets every stigma.
And having every stigma makes some classes alot better than others because some classes have alot of useless stigmas.

The many bugs with skills do not help the imbalance imo.
But yes I do believe Aion is based around Group PvP. more.
