    I believe if you learn from the situation, then yes you become more likely to respond better to a similar stimuli. (Therefore, made you stronger).

    However, some ppl are too stubborn to analyze what happened and benefit from it. In such cases they become prone to be stuck in the same situation, usually leading to frustration. (Then whatever doesn't kill, you makes you miserable I guess).

    I think what I'm going on about, is that the people who adapt better are the ones likely to be more successful (stronger). Finding scapegoats and excuses, or in other words not assuming and understanding what went wrong keeps you from learning how to deal with it. What I wrote may seem obvious enough, but sometimes we lose perspective of it...

    Just my opinion :)

    I definitely feel this is true for some situations or problems you face. You might think at the time you have no way to overcome a situation or problem you might be having but you just have to push through and make the decision you think is best to solve it. Even if you end up making the wrong decision, you still learn from that and can apply what you learnt to something in the future.

    Jump from a bridge , not a big one... You will break a leg and you wont walk the rest of your life. That doesnt kill you , but doesnt make you strong neither.

    Yea right, the cliff shouldn't be that high to kill you actually to just almost kill you. And u will see if it makes you stronger or not.

    its not about jumping from a cliff or a bridge and breaking your leg or nose. you should give definition to every single thing, you should see and feel what lays beyond it, and as this statement says its not about being physically broken down, it's maybe about lifetime struggles what ash mentioned above
