Problems with Invisible Costumes GYM SUIT & EVENING ALLURING ROBE

I'm having a problem seeing costume items, Gym Suit (Gym Suit) and Evening Alluring Robe (Evening Alluring Robe) in particular, and I have no idea why. I checked my roomates computer and we both have Aion 2.6, the latest gamez launcher, and the new 2.6 item pak (2 XML files that allow all remodeling), but idk why those costumes look invisible on my toon on my computer, but on my roomates computer I can see it just fine. On both computers I can see the icon and item name in my inventory but physically on my toon...invis >.> Any suggestions guys? I have repaired client using NCsoft launcher and even tried different item paks like Carl's 2.6 itempak (the one where u cannot remodel everything)...Thanks in advance !

PS - this is also weird but on my computer, when i try on the gym suit on my ASMO in preview window, i can see it just fine, but when i try it on in preview window with my EYLOS...invisible >.>

Try it guys, to do so if you don't already know, just navigate to the Black Cloud Traders shop, choose the gym suit item in the costumes section, click "gift", then in the gift window u can try on the suit by holding control+right click.

that is soo not nice, I was on my elyos and I saw you're knell wearing that robe.

 

you're a tester, you should be able to find out what's wrong by yourself, if you can't find the root cause i don't know how effective you are as a Tester?

 

Rather idiotic reply as it could be her pc or it could be any number of things, I suggest you refrain from posting unless you have something useful to say.

 

-.- just saying... i'm assuming you have protocols as a tester right? or some of you are applying just for colors?

@OP, test it in test server... try fixing your pc issues...

 

@JJ01855 - part of testing and reporting bugs is communicating with the gamez community to confirm solutions if there already is one out there before i do submit a formal bug report. so please post something helpful if you can think of a solution. I know the bug is not internal in the gamez realm, its more like something on my computer within the Aion folders itself or whatever, so it has nothing to do with me being a tester (I only deal with bugs that are internal within the game realm).

 

Testers find and test new bugs yes some knowledge is required but they don't know everything and sometimes may require help from other members of the community.

Now for OP that is kinda weird since you have the newest item.pak try reinstalling it.

Did you try to reinstall the item.pak? and did you make sure you placed it on the RIGHT path?

 

Well she can see the costume on her asmo just not elyos so obviously its in the right folder, reinstalling it might fix it though.

have u tried repairing the client ? maybe some missing or damaged files cause this ...dunno >.<

 

the problem is items.pak in AION/Data/items folder. delete current items.pak in that folder then repair your client, or get someone to upload that original items.pak

BUT good news! I just deleted the whole game and reinstalled it, repairing it did not solve the issue nor did the suggestion Uthi gave me (although i truly thought that was it!), but now it works just fine, i can see!!! But thank you for all the responses and suggestions. We can close this thread now.
