    His style of playing is much, much more difficult than anything Dragonforce plays.
    I can mimic some of the chords Dragonforce place, it's repetitive, and not that hard.

    They've got some talent, but when it comes to being a guitarist, they have got nothing on Lawson. :<

    practicing maximum week and you wont have troubles with playing bar chords :D

    Just practice 10-30 mins a day. :) You'll be comfortable rotating between almost any chord in like 3 weeks.
    You just need to take the time to practice, which is what most people who start out don't do. They practice 2 hours a day for 1 week and quit.

    I took lessons for half a year but I was learning notes instead of chords when I wanted to go to chords from the start D: So I just stopped and I'm learning everything on my own

    This guy is good, no doubt about that, but doesn't warrant a "how is this possible?" It's anything that Yngwie Malmsteen or Jeff Loomis can accomplish, here he's just fingerpicking to eliminate that plectrum sound.

    As an added note to someone's comment earlier, the father of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Yngwie, Nevermore, and any thrash, black, or neo-symphonic metal is Niccolo Paganini; he is the original shredding badass.
