Why im lag? Fps on fortress fps:4/15

    IM LAG IN AION, I DONT KNOW WHY. ._. I MEETS THE REQUEREMENTS:
    Recommended requirements:

    Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP SP2 / Vista (i have windonws 7 )
    Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz (i have Intel(R) Dual Core
    Memory: 2 GB RAM (I have 2.5GB :lol:)
    Graphics card: NVIDIA 6800 with 256MB RAM / ATI Radeon x800 with 256MB or higher (I have 1GB Nvidia :lol:
    Hard drive space: 15 GB (Im bad here:sad:.. Hard disk 97.6GB Space, free space 37.1GB)
    Reader: DVD ( Yes)
    Other: DirectX 9.0c and internet (DirectX10 and internet obviously)
    Please what is the wrong here? :S i want play okey, THANKS
    Pandemoniun FPS=6 xD help please

    Lower ur graphics at Aion's options please .. yes these requirements recommended so u can play but it's not the best thing , it's the lowest requirements only , as I see from ur PC settings u will lag as hell if u didn't lower ur graphic's options in Aion..

    your specs completly suck >_> mininum req=utter shit. you must always have atleast high specs to play on med-low settings since Aion isnt the only thing running on your pc, you also got allot of crud in the background slowing down your system

    Sir, my ping is OKEY im From venezuela.
    My ping is 130/330 ms
    If i put low the grapichs, is the same lag lag lag.. i dont know :S:ninja:

    well i dont have much knowledge about computers so yea like those posts above saying your PC is not really good, besides of setting low graphics, try Shift F12 when you entering somewhere flooded of players... In Gamez, specially on Siel you will get laggy so bad when you join the zerg war, or in Sanctum/Pandaemonium...
    Your ping is quite good, at least better than me so its not the problem. :)

    Well you need quite good specs to play fuently ....

    I am playing on NB ...

    AMD dualcore 2,2GHZ

    4Gb Ram

    Ati Radeon 5650 G 1Gb DDR3

    And I tell you my fps drops everytime I meet 3+ people in PvP ....

    those memory could really use some upgrade. note that those are the absolute minimum requirements, in reality, meeting the recommended specs is more advisable.

    you can lower the quality set them all to minimum see how it goes.

    I'm running basically the sames specs and I have the same problem. The only kicker is anywhere else I'll run 45-60 FPS but any encounter with PvP I start lagging hardcore. One thing I've notice though is that a lot of Korean MMO style games take up a lot of GPU power just to execute them,even when its not even processing a lot of graphic but for some reason its very demanding on the GPU.

    Aion works on the CryTek engine, which translate to: can take a lot of GPU/CPU power.


    You should update your GPU Driver.
    Run the game in window mode and make the window a bit smaller than your screen is, should help since higher the resolution = higher processing power is needed.
    After you enter your username+password and is in the select character screen, wait for 5 minutes, then try to log-in.
