I do have to say, this is a pretty good server, But....

Who is letting everyone get away with selling and trading in any other channel than trade. I hate having to close myself off to the world, just to read legion chat or wispers. I'd like to know if /1 something is happening in my zone, or /3 people want to group for a quest, or /4 I need help with rotations and gearing or other class related things....... instead we have /1 trade /2 trade /3 trade /4 trade /s trade /y trade.:annoyed: /end rant.

 

IKR its been going on a long time

 

This is a pretty good server but......

1. There is no GM online when you need them. Or they will ignore your request to chat with them.
2. There are still people that do get away with hacks like damage and speed. I know, but how can
a rank 2 assassin kill an Army officer 2 (chanter) with full ABG chain +14 in 4 attacks and inflict 2k to 4k
per attack. Yeah, that means your chanter dies in less than 5 seconds. Even dueling with a full ABG gladiator
who are the true physical damage dealers on ground, I don't receive damage like that. To mention a few on the
Siel server: Asmo assassin 'Dowawa' and 'Arichimaru'. There is a third one but I can't recall a name. They will
kill you in front of about 4 other allies but then still run away after because their speed is like 4x regular speed.
I don't have videos at this time but I will because I just downloaded Xfire....

It's a private server that also makes money. Weird thing is that I logged off my Sorcerer (because sorcs have low physical def) and logged in my Chanter which have over 2k physical def, awesome heals, all ABG items and this character 'Dowawa' camps me the same, as if he knew who my alt character was. And to my surprise, the same HUGE amount of damage. My chanter has complete ABG set, all of them enchanted to max, over 12K HP and it does not last for 5 seconds??? Something is not right here....So I urge AM's and GM's to investigate these characters.

 

i've seen this Dowawa kill abg glad sorcs, rangers etc in a couple or so of hits and all happened with many elyos around then escape teleporting like speed. he's obviously hacking, it's unfortunate i don't have fraps of it as my laptop is sucky.

tried to report so gms can observe but then again as usual, there's no gm online! how convenient. looks like all these hackers can run around with impunity as they know they not gonna get caught. oh it's easy to find these hackers in inggi btw

 

I completely agree with your first post , it is annoying to see people spamming the /3 with their trades. But how to convince them not to? Make the /3 usable by only the V -> Search function thing? The people need a Global Chat , A World chat or whatever you would call it. What i don't like is that they use /4 /3 /2 /1 in a macro , we need to put a 30 sec cooldown which will apply to all of them if any of them is used. (e.g. you speak in /3 then u can't speak in /4 for 30 secs)
That would help in a way..

As about the GM Activity.. perhaps i should agree , i'll discuss about this with the others. Though , usually there are GMs online but with Invisible Mode to track some People that are Accused of hacking to make sure they are before they ban them.

As about the Assassins you speak of , we can't do anything if you do not provide solid proof. Good Luck Recording with Xfire!

 

invisible or not they would show up on .gmlist command if they're online but they're not, it's hard to find a gm online this days...

edit: not to mention when someone finaly is online you can write to them for 1 hour if you want you're just ignored the whole time or you get like i'm busy or find other am to talk to etc... so idk.. lol

 

i got to agree with you.. its really hard to point out a hacker to the AM team here in this server, Its really easy to get away with hacks in this server i have meet both of those Sins above mentioned, and i know also what you guys mean, they are Obviously hacking like many others in pvp, Its sad to say it but , but reporting them is almost close to useless, and getting proof is almost close to impossible since it REALLY needs to be perfect :S

 

This server needs more organization in moderating, even the forums are sometimes filled with bs. And they can't always respond because either they are doing something in-game or not online.

 

I did not mean having their characters invisible , there is a command which makes you not visible in the .gmlist , if hackers see a gm online (cause they check .gmlist all the time) they close the hacks you know.

Not to mention you guys spam the hell out of a GM once he gets online without realizing the server has like 1k people online and half of them pm him/her...
(For that , we need more GMs online of course , so the pms will be shared.)

If you think the AMs aren't doing well , tell me , what would you do in their place?
Ban whoever the people say he's a hacker? What if he's a good player and you just suck?
We need Solid proof if we want to keep our Server alive , banning people at random is stupid.

There was a suggestion about this , someone said (forgot who) to make some normal players have GM powers to ban hackers and stuff.. Something like an Anti-Hackers team that would chase hackers ingame , they would be experienced and old/mature players with retail experience.
But then again... you can't trust just anyone. >.> what if they abuse it?
We need them to record to show us who they ban and why , but then it would end up like being a normal player who's recording. If you have any better suggestions , feel free to post them...

 

they should be invisible to the players on the maps but they should be available in the gmlist. it is hard to to gather sufficient proof acceptable as by the time i alt-tab and launch fraps the hacker is gone.

the gms or whoever are those hacker tracking teams that was suggested a while ago, meanwhile should have all the tools to observe to be fair, ask the victims about damage and such and render sufficient judgment.

hacking ruins pvp, is this so hard?

 

we need alente to impliment the new GM dedicated team.
AMs who appear on the gmlist to run events and answer questions.
and a special AM group who never show up on the list and whos sole purpose to track and ban hackers.

 

Alt + Tab and Launch Fraps?
Why? Can't you Just Launch it before you go PvP? Don't tell me that it Lags your computer , i will laugh.

If Fraps lags your computer , then your computer is so bad that you won't be able to pvp cause of your framerate , and people will look like speedhackers to you (when your screen freezes , your character stops moving , even if it's just a half second freeze) Because it's your CPU (Processor) not your GPU (GFX Card) , that's what speedhack does , speeds up ur processor or w/e.

 

theyre just lazy. i know ppl with horrible framerate that still have fraps ready to go incase of hackers.

 

Do not give them power they can abuse like a banning power, give them a task to find the hackers and give them invisible command and speed command to follow suspicious people, make AMs available for players to whisper, player whispers AM, AM whispers the name to the online hacker-finder/whatever and he tries to check if that player is cheating/hacking.

Oh and about your previous post , having a GM Who's name will be known to us and he will be online but not visible in the .GM List will help , but only against the "Stupid , Low level hackers". The Smart ones 1) Have Radar which Detects AMs when they Get Close , 2) They Will know that Invisible GM's name and they'll pm him to see if he's online and say "Hi gm" or something. You can't tell they are pming u to see if u're online so they can hack then , it's just a "Hi" , no proof.

They will need more powers , like checking a character's inventory/stats to see his title , speed , etc. And that can be abused lol. But yeah , of course they wouldn't have ban powers if the staff would agree to get a team like that.

All they need is a Speed/Invisibility/Inventory&Stats Checking command. (And hope that they won't abuse those 3-4 , expecially the invisibility thing)

 

about sin, it's not dmg hack. it's a bug that rise atk (sin rise the most). once a time when i log into my PVE sin. i had 1400 atk (normal is ~750)
and my PVE SM got hit by a sin with 1700dmg 1300dmg crit weaving. i actually had the SS but i know thats just a bug. i dont wan to get ppl banned. tho ppl need to be honest about it (i doubt this). if AMs make that bug abusing ban-able then ppl will stop using it.

 

too bad there isnt some kind of ingame mail system that can be used by anyone and is only recieved by the secret anti hacker team lol.

 

We could make a Rule , like "Do not pm that GM except if you want to report a Hacker" so they can't check if he's online to close the hacks. But then they would say Oh i didn't know that rule or they will say stuff like "GM Check <random name> pls i think it's a hacker" to see if he's on + waste his time.

We could Jail whoever PMs him(so if the pmer is a hacker , he'll be jailed anyways) but that wouldn't rly help...
