Server: Apache is web server and it needs PHP,MySql to run website's and forums has nothing to do with the game servers. Nice try though

Actually that's not entirely true... Sure Apache is a web server... But the SQL part can be used for game servers. Seeing as the site registers your account to an SQL database which the server then reads for account data when you log in. Also also SQL databases are quite popular among private servers and so are Apache n PHP when doing registration pages. ^^

But most good gameservers will us mssql and the like.

 

Ooh? Here I thought MySQL was only another way of connecting to SQL Databases... Meh never bothered looking into seeing as I prefer Navicat n I only connect to them never made one lol.

Haha, this thread is so funny to read when I come home from work, really very silly

I donated, I think the only difference between donate players and non-donators is

A. to lazy to get gear properly
B. not enough time to play to get gear properly
C. Have to much money
D. Want to support the server
E. Want to get gear for a character quicker that is much better than the average player so as to have advantage over them
F. Want to use a donate character to be able to get into areas of the game that other players in general could not access because of gear *obviously this one is not specific to Aion, but many party will be greatfull for quicker runs better heals or better tanking due to gear level*

It really does not matter what type of donator you are but the dumbest ones are the ones that think they are better than everyone else because

a. there gear level
b. they think self important because they donate
c. they think they are better players than others cause of gear level

True skill comes from ability and talent and practise not from a piece of cloth, leather, chain, or plate

 

thats why I keep my recipts in a safe place :whistling:
RL thing not talking about donation, money spent on server = money you lose, but thats our problem when we use it and where we use it

That's not a fair assessment either. If no one donated there wouldn't "be" a server. So thats not even close to being logical. Point..........again..............shit happens. Its not going to happen any less to you just because you donated 1000$ or, any more to someone who hasn't donated a dime.

It is what it is. Either support the effort to better it or keep your fingers out of the threads. Animosity isn't going to be an insta cure for anything.

 

ok Peinx3, u let clear to everyone that u like this server and u want to be noticed by the staff with ur overprotecting atitude... but we are not all like this...
my only point is: when something like this serverthat can be awsome, have some issue like this that IS big, it can make the server fail, cause the problem is so small, but turns into a such big issue that people get frustrated.... all could be fixed if somenone else had the rebooting permission... thats what frustrated everyone.... the simple fact that its a simple fix that isnt fixed....
