Server-wide Insignia Wipe Out?

today i logged in to find my 5.2K+ crucible insignias missing from my character inventory. was there any wipe-out that occured? i thought one of the am assured it's just a rumor. can any am/gm/hgm clarify this?

i farmed and work hard for this, not a big amount, but still, with everything can just go wrong and items can suddenly go missing, have to take ss almost every minute. it's so scary....

besides with such a small amount, i understand 50K or 1M insignias maybe duped but why set limit so little?

 

it happens to me too dude they just keep closing thread 50 k insignia's in my inventory gone

 

i think they wiped all, cuse my 4,5k is missing aswell...

not an expert in programming but it should be easy to detect dupes. like detect a spike increase in amount of insignias in inventory.
is this so hard?
so what happens to the honest players?

 

Insignias were wiped today. Will not be reimbursed if removed.

 

To be honest , i don't know what happened exactly yet...
I heard some people still got their insignias.. and i'm wondering why/how.
They said the people who had many insignias got them wiped :$ but then again.. 5.2k is nothing..

I'll let you know more about the subject once i get to know what exactly happened. Anything said now can be wrong.

i know, petro 5.2k is 'nothing', i just said that. just time wasted. but doesn't make sense, i mean, i can understand about wiping dupes and maybe those with tens of thousands or millions.

but it looks like affected many honest and legit players

 

idk, i just lost medals which i get from elyos, my asmo medal isnot ( 30k+ ) lucky for me

 

looks like new issues keeps cropping up every day

probably the cause, i won't be amazed if devs messed up the query in deleting the items... they are known to that kinds...

 

Well tbh no harm is done...it s impossible to get items with the second version of insignias so a second wipe(unfortuatelly) will fix things(hopefully)...the only harm is (AS ALWAYS) to the honest folks who farmed their mats legit

oh and i read somewhere that u cannot farm 50k in 15 days...that s BS if u r patient and determined u can farm as many as u like...since the normal cd to instances doesn t work here

 

and it's probably elyos/asmos has different item IDs... they wiped Elyos first then Asmo next.

 

Wew, whats wrong with you guys?!! Why are you QQing just for insignias? Me too got the same problem, i lost 13k insignias, but it doesnt matter anyway. This thing can't help us become a better player. SOoo just live with it. We are playing in a private server, so please be patient until they fixed everythin up.

 

nobody is qq'ng here. i'm not even demanding that it be returned. nobody here is saying harsh words. i appreciate the inputs and research by other posters who contributed to this thread.

just putting some thoughts to the devs and authorities so in the future they take into account the honest and legit players.

it's good to listen to the community, right? it makes for a better server i believe.
