All right, first of all... I'm not taking his side, I just want a fair punishment in his case.
I've been informed about the thing happened with him, and I trully find it unfair how he got permanently banned.

I'm not completely aware of the amount of insignias he received by abusing this certain method, however if you re-read the rules carefully, it says that the first & second offense drags a 6-24 hours long jailtime or a 12-48hours long temp ban the permanent ban is just not a correct way to handle his case.

He's been around for quite a massive amount of time here on Gamez, and afaik, he has never hacked/abused/glitched/scammed before, so we can say he was a loyal Gamez folk.

I'd like to ask the person who checked his ban appeal to reconsider the type of his punishment. Deleting his insignias & a medium length temp ban would be a good lesson for him already (let's say a couple days or a week at top)
I would bet a coin that he's never going to think of doing any fishy moves after his temp ban expires.

its not public since ban appeals are made in user CP

 

I got no idea where could I find his ban appeal, since it's not public as appeals were in the old times.
But he kept exiting & re-enterin with his partner to get a higher amount of insignias & pass thru each rounds w/o getting stuck.
That's what I understood as the essence of it.

 

Well I have to agree with you Zee, that is a server side problem and I think that a temporary ban should be enough. Banning permanently this person and treating him like a speed hacker is not Ethic at all. I hope the Gamez Aion staff consider our plead and lift his ban.

I completely Agree, I hate hackers, and intentional bug abusers, I do think perma band is bit to much for someone not really aware of how much insignias they are getting. I mean really unless you played retain you will not know even then, gamez is buggy so how we know how much we suppose to get or not unless otherwise posted.

 

Most of them got jailed as I've heard.
Also if the staff would accept this "suggestion" they could introduce a new rule for this kind of abusing as well, when you're not literally duping insignias, but you abuse to gain more & more.

I think a temp ban and deleting the stuff its duped would be a good lesson for the specific player/players.

 

Duping is duping. as the previous existed methods, duping is abusing bugs to duplicate items, in this case, he intentionally abused crucible challenge bug to duplicate the points to get duping insignias. it's also mentioned in Official server rules:
I. DupingIf a player is caught duplicating any items, he/she will be given an immediate Account Ban.
If you are caught asking how to dupe or asking how players to help dupe you will receive a 1 day ban. (If caught with duped items you will still be given an Account Ban
