I mean this game is called Aion: Tower of Eternity.
We never even get to go near the tower.

When the tower shattered the world was split in two. Asmodae, and Fairyland

I think theres a cutscene where you can see what it looked like.

 

Aion practically died after giving himself up after the thousand-year war.

As for the tower, I've always assumed that the Core in Reshanta was its main chamber.

Eventually an attempt at peace with the Balaur was made. The five Drakan Lords were invited inside the barrier for peace talks, but before the peace-talks could begin, one of the Drakan Lords was nearly assassinated by an unknown assailant. In the fighting that followed, the Tower of Eternity was destroyed, resulting in the cataclysm that broke Atreia in half. Five Empyrean Lords, most of whom opposed the peace treaty, came to power in the dark part of the world, "Asmodae," and became known as the Shedim Lords. Another five who had mostly desired peace became the Seraphim Lords and ruled over the lower half of Atreia, "Elysea." Two of the Empyrean Lords sacrificed themselves to keep Atreia from crumbling entirely.

Yeah I know all that too. I spent like 3 hours digging up Aion Lore.
It's just we always see the tower frangment in the distance, but we can never go to it.
I don't believe Divine was a chamber of the Tower because it says Ereshkigal was the Governer of the Reshanta District.
Why would a Balaur Lord have control of a part of the tower when there was a massive aetheric field protecting it, created by the Empy lords?

no, after the cataclysm. the abyss was created, an unknown zone. it took quite long for deavas and their empyrean lords to learn about the abyss. and at that time, the balaur already took control over the abyss. and the abyss war began after that.

Elyos discovered Asmodae through the rift... but it was unstable... thus when they created a stable rift it goes through Abyss to Asmodae, and vice versa thus Abyss became a constant battle ground...

after some time they discovered another way, inggison to gelkmarous but was a home town for the balaurs...

 

Actually, you never saw the hidden CG in the client folders.
Balaurs actually lived in coexistence with "humans". Then the dragons went apeshit and started killing people.
Aion was pissed as shit, so he created the Empyrean Lords to teach the fishsticks a lesson. After the thousand-year war, a truce was almost made, but someone (Kaisinel) had to f shit up and killed one of the Balaur's generals.

Then the big party exploded and ended with 2 Lords dead (Siel and Israphel), the Tower shattered, and 10 remaining Lords divided up into 2 equal groups that led their corresponding humans to each half of Astrea.
