True. Not to mention..

Every armor ( Cloth,Leather,chain & plate ) Have physical defence but there is no "elemental defence" stats.

Lets just compare a the class plainly without addition adds from scroll. ( class vs class // no class vs scrolls)

But still.. Every armor have def to reduces all physical atks but no elemental defence stats from the armor to reduce magic atks

 

As others said , Accessories give you elemental defences , foods give you , scrolls give you , buffs give you , etc.
They are more than much. Before the nerf , i could deal just 1.5k damage with glacial on players who had buffs from scrolls , food , etc.

Try to use a sorc and kill a templar who uses an Elemental Defence Accessory Set (Helm , Belt , Earrings , Rings , Necklace) , Magic Resist manastones , Fire/Earth/Water/Wind Proof Scrolls , Anti-Shock Scrolls , Spell Resist scrolls , Elemental Resist Food (+60 to all) , etc.

Let me tell you.. he will pop aether armor and you'll have to sleep/kite him until it's gone... then ur sof will be down and if ur set isn't full m.acc you're screwed. If you aren't full m.res , he'll use his ranged stun and get close , if you waste ur remove shock , the next stun will be shieldburst -> breakpower and you're dead if it crits.
And about shadowburst? believe me , it is a 4k DP Skill and it will take down only half of his hp while he will use hand of healing with 3K DP and will fully heal himself.

Templars are what is OP not Sorcerers...
And now you have Sorcs nerfed , Attack increasing bugs and you STILL CRY about sorcs...

 

Sorc is the most OP class in AION atm . Even with BP a templar can't match a sorc ...

Realy i played all my aion time as sorc .. and is the most OP .. even with stigma sistem .

Sorcs weren't nerfed at all ....

 

You either fought lowskilled players or ungeared players.
M.Res Templars>Sorcs often on ground pvp if they know what to do (And if they have the neccessary gear of course , like using m.res and after stunning the player using crit items or something)

A Sorcerer has to use almost every spell he has to kill a good templar , that includes Supplication of Focus , Magic Boost , Wintry Armor , Curse of Weakness , etc.

And trust me , a BP Templar is "no match for a sorc" only if he is unlucky , if BP Crits , the sorc is dead.

 

sorcs are supposed to do great damage. this maybe news to you, in every mmo, they're the best damager. in guild wars they're feared for their spike damage. in pwi, they can do insane and massive amounts of damage.

oh and you're referring to skills of diffrent stigma trees. the lack of stigma just makes them look like they have 8 skills.

also may of these skills takes like 4 secs to cast, if you're just standing around goofing off and dancing then yes sorcs will kill you.

oh, about your egt set why not get off your lazy ass and do something get yourself an abg set.

The Best solution to Balance the races-pvp, is to implement Stigma, and stop QQ for Sorc Dmg, what do u except, to stop sorcerer with Crit build Set?

I play on diferent servers and besides maybe reso i didn't meet a sorc better than i am . Many idiots play this class cuz is op ... and trust me is the most op class . If u are not OP .. then maybe is not the right class for you .

 

Petro it's what you called skill, but if sb won't get nerfed noobs will just dp sb your ass till you rage qq. No skill. Now it gets nerfed and as long as there is no iwin button on all classes, skills will be the factor in pvp.

As for you arguement in templars bp yes it is bugged and eventually will be fixed. If you want to help go talk to evilset have it fixed rather than talking here on how sorcs are nerfed so bad...

I'm not talking about a DP Spell nerf , i'm talking about the normal spells' nerfing , glacial shard/inferno/flame spray.
I do want the SB/LB to be nerfed , i don't like it either (even though i use it on highranks when they piss me off by coming 10 vs 1 , i empty my dp on them since i'll die anyways , imo coming 10 vs 1 is worse than using LB.)
But the normal skill nerf.. that's just stupid. I'm against that.
Templars' BP is what needs a nerf since it's (I believe) bugged.

I played stigma sistem sorc all the way and atm is the most op class .

I'm not QQ-ing about them as i enjoi mine .. i just find it ridiculous when some1 say that sorc is not OP .. witch eh .. f.. it c'mon .
And nth was nerfed about them ... just fixed .

 

You can say whatever you want hex but petro is right, fighting a well geared templar will make you use everything you got, if i encounter a good templar who also knows how to play the class after defeating him i need to back down a bit cause everything is on cooldown.

I think qq-ers should learn what a damage dealer class is, what a tank class is and so on.. I've been here for 1year and a half and there wasn't so many complains like now. People should stop listening to qqers who change the class depending on whats OP in that moment. I don't know how asmos see elyos but I am an elyos and what I noticed on asmo side was this : When archers were op or sins every single asmodian was that class .. you barely saw another class .. now templars have a nice damage on BP and guess what .. all of that mass of rangers sins or whatever turned suddenly into templars... you wanna solo and hate zergs .. you always encounter 3-4-5 templars.

 

I dont understand why ppl want to increase dmg on some sorc spells. Like i said before, i played a sorc here for around 6 months in lumiel and i can say that they are more OP than retail, i played one there too for a year+. Sorcs and SMs are the most OP classes in aion and gamez aion. Something needs to be done to reduce their dmg slightly (in the case of sorc, so that its retail like). To be normal sorc dmg on normal spells need to be reduced by 20% or so, 30% more on flame spray and glacial. (those 2 are terrible in retail). I wish i still had retail acc so i could show proof.

 

1 - Templar is the class witch was made to counter the sorc .
2 - A templar will use evrything to TRY to kill a sorc .. the sorc will use evrything but for SURE the templar will be dead .
3 - As a sorc user i find it easy to kill a templar once the aether armor is OFF ( and that only if the templar is FULL mr ) .. if hes not full mr i got no problem in killing him even if he use aether armor . U just need to know wut to use and when to use . Simple as that ...

 

U played Sorc on retail?.. so i guess u had ABG + all stigmas there and u know what dmg a sorc should do??

 

I have never been playing retail so I can´t really compare ... but

If I am not wrong .. sorc gain 1% bonus dmg every 12 MB he has .. so therefor 2700 means +225% dmg ...
So How come if I apply this MOD on sorcerer spells ingame the numbers on paper and ingame fits ?....

Do we have higher base dmg then retail does ? ... I can t think of different answer cuz MB formala works flawlessly
