How does one obtain platinum medals?

Hi all, brand spanking new to the gamez community, been around about two days. I played retail for about a year on and off so collecting besh gear was pretty simple. Now that I have some gear, me and my friend were thinking about starting to collect our pvp gear. We went to the gelk forts to collect some AP from guards and received nothing for defeating them... Which leads me to wonder...

In retail, you earn medals by achieving 1,500 AP in enemy kills in either fort defense or fort offense, however, how does one achieve such a feat if theres limited pvp in a fort vicinity and the guards yield no ap? Seems literally impossible to get the medals this way.

Any answers would be incredibly appreciated. I play on siel, asmo side.

you get 10 plat medals for each char you make lvl 55 with him & seems that's the only way to get plat medals atm or if you wanna give insanse offers to other ppl for medals

 

1. duper dupes medals
2. duper trades medals
3. everyone has medals : D
4. trade player your items/credits for medals
5. duper gets banned
6. duper comes back
7. repeat.

 

lol... dosent duped items disaper after relog? :O

 

There was a time when you could dupe stack-able items w/o it disappearing I think.
Medals being one of them.
I was against having crucible insigs for the same reason. :O

u can get gold medals

 

upper forts in abyss works? thought they didn't work, never bothered to check since plats are not obtainable...

 

I know 2 ways but not all work i m afraid

1)Sieges. U get 5pm for each balaurea siege u participate (attack or defence) NOT WORKING-crystal
2)Daily quest from Balaurea forts each gives 1pm. WORKING-crystal

There is also a pet in cc rewards that gives pm when feed but that needs testing

 

yea i tried kysis or asteria cant remeber which one but the key doesent allways drop but yea u do get gold and silver medals now again

Asteria and Roah sucks. The important instances are AS from Core and Krotan, Kysis and Miren, but last time I see the map, Those ones were Balaur forts.. So instance wouldnt be available.

PMs you can get by quest and AS, and Issoterrace too, but this one i dont know if quests are working.

 

What pet gives u are platinum coins not medals, at least for me. _:sad:_

I have tried upper forts without being in party and i got no gold medals once they were taken. IGN/GELK siege gave me 5 platinum medals as u said once the gate was broken (i was in party then)

 

I dont know whats going on... but before a few updates.... u could get plats medals like this....

When the fort went vurnerables u only need to go inside and go out and kill an asmo/elyos around the fort.... and that was giving 3 or 4 plats medals...

I got like that more than 40 medals... but they stoped medals in forts... even in the few says that the forts were getting siege i killed the generals like 3 times and didnt give any medals.

So try to level chars and thats gonna give u 10 medals each 1... thats how im doing right now.

 

well, just lvl some crappy chars to 55, take the medals out of them, *trollface* at them and then delete them.

doin this too many times gets ur account mad and deletes its self though

I wish I could dupe plat medals.. well, I heard people make a program just to dupe items in aion.. the only undupe-able item are those with pvp boosts..

 

If I were you I'd remove your post, calith got banned for saying cheat engine in game and it doesnt even work and what you're saying right now you're giving new players idea to get into trouble...
