New + what the heck?

so i just came to Gamez after spending nearly two yrs on retail. and its def. a change..
first of all. i thought there was suppose to be a increase in loot? i was getting plenty of white mana stones and junk, but no kind of gear or mats. i lvled up 5 toons to mid 40's grinding w/o doing any quests in Eltnen or Vert. and didnt see a Gold or Blue drop at all, if you meant increased drop rate by way of mana stones = Success, but if its suppose to be everything else, is there a bug or was it changed, would really like to know.
id rather go back to p2p if im gonna be spending money like mad to just make up a decent set of gear.

decent gear comes from instance?

 

yes some decent gear comes from instances. but on retail your able to get some from mobs outside of instances, and the mats you can get from balaur to make stuff is better than some gear

 

idk how messed up drop rates are after update.. but atleast before they wasn't fcked up ppls got blue/gold gears high rate. idk if last update changed anything since wasnt grinded gears.. but i think gold gears drops good.. but the mobs what drop them.. thats the thing.. like i yesterday farmed manastones, ppls just whine they dont drop at all, but i just got them 100% rate..
+compared to retail.. gamez wasnt have all drops.. so it already cut drops from mobs.. and in my opinion.. under 45 gears wasnt even mater here whit these high exp rates

+ getting 45 is quite fast when get some1 mentoring you and he just kill brusthoonin/verteron mobs

 

Hello and welcome! I've been farming for mats on Lumiel in Beluslan and havent been having a problem with them dropping at all. Myself, as fast as you can xp your char on Gamez Siel/Lumiel, I dont like to waste time trying to get the low level gears unless I'm wanting some set for a remodel but usually I just craft for the remodels.

 

Drops are messed been farming 4 days now since i started this server and no world drops no regulars, a few golds here and there in instances but, its definitely not the suggested drop rate, hopefully it will get fixed, my suggestion to you is just run DP/Talocs maybe and bakarma or if you find any other instances that drop something good let me know also.

Heard BT got some drops but "Some" is the key word.

 

no and i completely agree that gear below 45 isnt a big deal, i just found it very odd that i didnt see any. im 55 now, and having a hell of a time trying to get gear now luckily i was able to run Udas Temple/ Lower Udas and get my pants/Shoes and a ring.

i was just wondering about drop rates. i guess.
it was nice to spend a few hours and get to 55 instead of a month, but i found myself dying to things i would never dye to other wise, since i was so under geared, kinda frustrating.

is donating to gamerz the only way to get pvp gear?
or do people participate in fort raids/ defense to get medals? ( and if not, how do we get medals?! QQ)

well thats another thing do these instances work?
i went to run KT and couldnt get past the first gate. and i didnt even bother with FT. that would of been a decent weapon to get me through.

do people even do SR/Theo Labs/or DP?

Me and a few other guys just came from retail also Israphel my self and trying to get people from retail to join up on asmos though, we are running some stuff, and are working on 50e if you wanna join in on the fun, more are welcome.

Lemme warn you though you can probably experience it your self but man all these people with eternal 55 LOL, Just watch them pvp and you will be just laughing your ass off and if you are from retail you will have no problem (unless you were a pve queen) to get in on rape.

The thing is, this with drops has been going up and down all the time... Alot people here saying Dont bother farming low lvl stuff when u lvl fast to high lvl... But the real thing is none sees its a HIGH RATE server drops are supposed to be SOOOO much higher then retail and everything should be easy obtainable even low lvl drops that none wants, some people simply wants for the looks and stuff... If making stuff retail like Go all the way put all drops like in Retail and pump up the volume... give us what you have promised all along on the website and those voting sides where it says that everything works loot high rate bla bla bla... and Fix stormwing drops.... i m willing to donate for the server that works and gives back to players without needing anything back in return,, just if it WORKS!

 

Drop has been a very long problem on this server
they keep implementing new stuffs when they havent fix the old stuffs yet
as if the new stuffs even works (wtf is the test server for?) all it does is create more problems to be fixed

 

yeah its def. frustrating.
im gonna try and hold in there, and deal with it for a bit. its either this or go back to retail, and start all over. something im not very happy about. or looking forward to

 

my elyos on Siel is alrdy 55, so id have to wait for them to be erased before i can start over >.<

 

The only gear you can get from mid 40 mobs is : TRASH

If you want decent gear you might wanna farm in instances such as Udas temple/ abyssal splinter . The drops were bugged after one of the latest updates but i think right now they are already fixed or at least 50% fixed,i think they are working on it cause one of the updates fcked up the drops. For balaur mats you might wanna kill in dark poeta,just saying
