Zerg

Found this in the urban dictionary,felt like sharing it. It pretty much describes the situation in gamez. Its also for those who do something without knowing its origin^^

Originates from Blizzard's game Starcraft where zerg were one of 3 playable races, aliens like appeareance, zerg were characterized by using large numbers of weak units to swarm the enemy, also another charasteristic of zerg were that everything was organic, ie, zerg didnt used machines or any artifacts, they would mutate their own buildings from special kind of larvae and advanced units were created by mutating basic ones. Units were cheap to make and it was possible to make extreme numbers in short period of time.

Nowadays term zerg is used in mmo games to describe force consisted of large group of lower level players (often with only basic equipment) who use numbers rather then strategy to defeat the enemy, therefore requiring no skill. This tactics is commonly known as zerging.

Yup, might be most likely true. Sometimes I go alone, sometimes with a group/2-3 skilled people, sometimes with the noob crowd XD I only refrain from zerging when I go on AP hunt, not kill one. And unless the enemy is really one I respect, I would always interrupt and try getting the kill.

Oh and if I just hang out having fun, I don't even pay attention on who's around me o.o

i was about to say a zerg legion raiding lately on heiron.. but of course I wont mention it coz it will flame this thread.. btw, I believe aion is not meant to be a zerg game since there's a lot of pvp maps for everyone to choose where to hunt.. unlike crap games like 12 sky where you are asked whether you wanna go to the battlefield where large number of enemies zerg each other o.0

Seriously , you still want to continue this? We were 8 ppl in a group and got zerged by 50 elyos including you !

Anyway i love those 2 words, being together !

I know where this is going...

 

lol. It's more about "acting COOL" IMO. Most players in Gamez got this "ACTING COOL SYNDROME and SOLO is a PRO SYNDROME" metaphorically.

This game is both designed to be played in a SOLo or MASSIVE numbers. That's what groups or Alliance for. The problem is you guys don't play wisely and just go literally to zerg spots.
