Wut do u think?

First time i try to make a Signature for a friend using Photoshop CS5 lol
Tell me your opinion please! Criticism accepted , i'm a photoshop newb so i won't mind :3

ps: They look way too empty , anyone has some good brushes or C4Ds i could use?
Or some glowy things.. light textures , neon light things , etc.. idk how they're called :x
I don't have any good ones on this laptop , i had some awesome ones but they were on my pc , the gfx card got burnt

Oh and it took about 20 mins to make these ones lol , i'm slow.

 

hum your sigs look awesome ^-^ i usually search for those brushes on Deviantart, you can find thousands of them there.

Thank you! But as i said i feel like they're too empty lol. I think i need to add some textures with the Overlay effect in the second sig.
The scratches on the first one are from a brush. In the second i didn't use any brushes. I need lots of practice.
And yea i got some from deviantart too , they just wouldn't fit anywhere :x

Thank you! And yea you should =D it's fun and it's not hard at all. What takes time is choosing the font , smudging and darkening spots using the burn tool or a dark brush , etc. The rest is easy , photoshop does the effects , not you. I'm talking about things like Sharpening and putting Linear Dodge/Overlay effects to layers. It takes like 2 minutes to do it all

That sounds like a lot of work for 2 minutes, lol. My sig is super beginner-basic and it took me about 10min, so I'm still adventuring it.

 

It took me like 15 mins to make each of them but that's because i knew what to do. If you're gonna create an empty box and start thinking how to start and what to add , it'll take hours of course
And i said 2 minutes about the simple stuff only , like putting the layer in place and choosing the "Overlay" effect , takes uhm.. 20 secs? not even.

I could show you how i made them with images , i'm just a bit busy at the moment. it's really really easy :3
