Dead Island

My big brother rented the game from GameFly, and so far I'm loving it. Me and a friend managed to find all four of the Developer skulls, along with the mod's that appear once you place the skulls in certain spots.

 

what the hell are that? xDDD im too noob at this game for such info xDD

 

They're five (my bad, meant to say five in the first place) special skulls placed in different parts of the game, each one is named after a color. Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Orange. Green is found on a cliff outside the resort. Brown is located in the second bunker connected to Nikolai's through the hole in the ground after you find Nikolai at the helicopter crash site and take him to the bunker. The Purple skull is located in the sewers. The Blue is located at the drop-off area for the Purple skull. The Orange skull is located inside the Supermarket once you exit the sewers during a mission. Each skull has a specific drop-off location and each gives you a special mod for a weapon. It's pretty complicated at first. And each mod is pretty pricey, each requiring $10,000 along with 5 Diamond's.

 

The gameplay is great but the story is kinda..meh

Anyway, sewers were terrible D: jungle is where it got fun, at least with all the ammo around ;3

yeah, i hated the sewers...

everytime i had to go back to them i was like "holy f... sewers again?"

 

I hated the sewers extremely, and I still have yet to reach the jungle. One I need to do the quest and find the airliner, second.. the dreaded Butcher.

 

Craft the developer craft 666 item and once you get to the dreaded butcher you'll laugh (then again it does that to pretty much all of them)

edit: if you don't come prepared he'll instead eat your soul and poop on your chest

 

talkin bout butchers... is there any strategy to kill em?

like at the ram, let him charge and slaughter him from the back or at the thug, just hit and go back, hit and go back.

i can say that my first encounter with the butcher... made me lose 400 bucks

 

I had to get off early yesterday before I could craft them. I have about 50 Champagne bottles. And I have enough cash to make the mods. Also, do you know where you can get the Deathstalker or Phoenix mods?

I have no trouble with the Ram or Thug, I play as Logan and I'm doing the Combat and Survival Skill Tree's. I haven't fought a butcher yet.

 

thats what i was asking xDD i dont have probs with them neighter, only special zombies who give me creeps when i see them is the butcher rest die too easy

 

Guns make him stop in place (if fast enough, e.g.: auto rifles), developer 666 craft knocks him to the ground, but best thing is to treat him like an infected that just won't die, stay shortly out of range of him and try to be fast and precise so he doesnt hit you but you hit him ;p

other than that if they reach you they tend to eat your soul, and poop on your chest.

 

Uhh..Deathstalker is in the lab, a fairly easy quest when you first get there if I remember correctly

and..Phoenix..hmm I think its also somewhere in the lab or near it but I can't remember precisely

i really laughed xDD

and im bad at aiming the auto rifle, only gun i can control is the pistol Q.Q

im only effective at human vs human with the gun couse i headshot them even while they are moving

 

u get pheonix from a desk from the lower level of the building in which u face that armoured dude... avarel or w/e his name was, the dude u have to kill before proceding into meeting with mowen

 

i completed it 4 times already , i'm rank 50 now i got most orange weapons with 1500+ damage. perfect builded character: Logan

i just can't find the ****ing viking south axe and those other extreme 'rare' weapons. i got all blueprints (around 50) and all special developer skulls to XD but right now i'm kinda bored at it lol ive seen all shit all sidequests multiple times etc now i just hack & slash a bit , but mainly waiting for BF3

 

can u have a co-op match with meh and throw me some of ur weapons? xDDDD

 

act 4, prison, lvl 33, all solo till now :3

and i got a wep with 1279 dmg =O

 

no need to buy it,, i just download it.. and its quite boring to me..
