About Skinning.

Hi everyone. So someone had told me this issue was brought up awhile back but I thought I'd just bring it back to see what everyone thinks. I'm not noob or anything but I had forgotten that you can only skin items over with items of the same type/armor class. I really wanted to skin my sorcerer's cloth with the divine TAC officer's plate armor but I cant. (lame) I think it would be pretty cool if we could skin whatever armor on whatever armor we would like. Of course weapons would be strict, but armor? I mean gladiators and templars can wear whatever armor they like in the game, and the list goes down to just the mages wearing only 1 type. But wouldn't it be sweet if we could do that? Having 1 class that can wear any armor but can only skin it to 1 type? I think if we could skin anything it would add alot of customization to the server. What do you guys think?

 

That would be pretty cool having a leather class running around in like a mix of cloth/chain/plate XD

 

the server used to be like that like a year ago and then for w.e reason their was a patch and it was no more. kkthnxbai

I think it would be something neat to be able to do.

Although it would kinda hurt the fact that, some people go off armor type to determine class. Whatever would still rock.

hmmmm... it'd be fun to see a plated daeva casting lightbursts and fear

 

i guess players are just getting bored to their armors.. why just make costumes like plate,cloth,chain and others that can be able to remodel for every class.. instead of ruining the armor sets that is exclusive for each class only.
i would suggest to have change armor also like change weapon key..

 

Skinning gives 0 pvp defense.

0 extra damage.

0 flight speed.

I run around shift + f12 all day so meh to skins.
