It won't let me post in the reports section so posting here for obelisk campers

I know how to make a thread in the in-game reports section but it won't let me select a prefix for the thread so I can't create it(I can select prefixes in the marketplace but not reports section for some reason)

informed my legion... this is not our usual run and only Innocencejaded and Inana(Nunally) is present. I think you could choose to use a scroll during spawn protection but you chose to fraps them and let them hit you...

I'm waiting for an AM reply on this thread before I comment fully on this report...

 

If I use a scroll then I wont be able to record them spawn camping the other 2 players now could I? So what if I stood there, they still shouldn't be on top of our obelisk attacking us. There is no point in me not standing still, why would I attack back and encourage them to spawn camp further

 

I still don't get why people bind in obelisks near pvp prone areas/generally Balaurea, Heiron/Beluslan... maybe they should be disabled or custommize it as if a permanent kisk for everyone but only binds your char for a duration of time. Or a customized button that if you got killed near your obelisk you can have an emergency button spawning you back in the capitol.

 

They destroyed the air line btw so the only way to exit is with a scroll

And people bind near pvp prone areas because they want to pvp, and they expect people to have the common courtesy to not spawn camp you.

Resistance is futile. Scroll out to escape, stop acting noble. You purposely let yourself get killed instead of running away.
at the start of the vid... what were you doing sitting in front of 5 red names? Try to escape? or are you that noble to not back out from a fight? so is your legion mate who was in spawn protection, he sat instead of use a scroll to get out.
at 1:18 I saw you moved and cancelled the spawn protection, you stood for a few secs then they hit you. Just like every elyos(for a lack of better word)zerger, you are a red dot on their minimap, your name is red, you must die. why let them kill you?

at 2:08, hard to understand you were standing there with spawn protection then died instantly and was in another location... edited?

at the end of the vid I saw the reds moving away. so the camp lasted 2mins? I remember alente saying something about you not being totally able to play for hours, which is horrid, and resulting to logging off for hours, waiting. The type that should be punished. Not a camp that lasts 2 mins.. it was like a rush in then out. AFAIK it is not illegal to kill a few inside a village but camping the obelisk for say:10mins(long enough) is jailable.

 

i feel so left out i was there to and we werent camping, we would check the fort every 5 to 10 mins for random nubs who would wait there for us, Xnine died 2 times

 

Nah. I don't think the reporter made a report because of all the deaths he experienced from the camping - it's just one of the reasons. The main point here is that, those players are Obelisk Camping, period! Regardless what the reporter did, been too noble taking a video instead of porting away from the said map, it's his choice to record and report those who are violating the server rules. If he will not make a report regarding this, those players who were Obelisk Camping will never learn.

They deserve whatever punishments.

PS: Staying near the Obelisk and killing whoever respawns from it is Camping. Regardless if you were staying for a minute or less, it's still camping as you kill players who deserves to replenish their HP and MP bars to be able to play. It's nothing but TAB+123 practice.

 

When you make excuses for people doing stupid things, like drinking and driving, cliff diving, bungee jumping, it makes you stupid, too.

like i said there every 5 mins running from the gate to the fort it dont take 5mins to regain hp and mana thats for sure we gave them more then enough time to gtfo ^^

Why did they put those Obelisks anyway? There's already a rule regarding Obelisk Camping and you shouldn't expect the other faction to make the adjustments while your legionmates violate the rule. It is not because that Obelisk location is in a PvP prone area, they are not allowed to bind there. That's a funny argument.

 

Guys, regardless of how many minutes you have been there, you are still abusing the fact that the NPCs guarding the area are not attacking at all. if its 2 minutes or not, still a fact that someone has given efforts to report how you abused a bug.

the guards are not placed there for ornaments in the game, learn to respect what is not and is working do not cover your team mates mistake.

 

I just like to point out that Obelisks near pvp zones are there for a purpose. It's to serve as resurrection points to the players closest to the area and its practical to bind to those obelisk as well. The thing here is the lack of decent guards to guard these settlements/village to prevent opposing faction to Camp the areas.
