Why sorc's are for 10 year olds

Keep in mind, that he stayed the FARTHEST possible length he could throughout the entire duel.
I also counted 12 seconds total that I was able to move between roots, and sleeps. With each time, he reset his distance between me and him back to max.
If someone would be kind enough to point out a flaw in my "strategy", that would be nice.

Nearly everybody has:
- a 19-20% bonus from the orb/Spellbook they have ( More for some...)
-8-9% atck speed bonus ffrom gloves on most peepz set's.
- A bonus from title.

Also - Who's to say this isn't an asmo sorc using the buff glitch & staking BoQ + Vaiziels wisdom?
Even if it is an elyos sorc - Combining Vaiziel's wisdom with our new buff called ''Magical Boost'' that gives you an extra 10% cast speed if i'm not mistaken - You can basicly cut 40% off each cast time.

You're far from getting M.acc cap (if there is one, i'm not even sure...) without socketing m.acc.

Lockdown(interrupt casting) > aerial snare(same) > sure strike/final strike > Sorc owned.

how's that OP? sorcs are "glass cannons" in their class description. ever wonder why? if they don't have that many nukes, then they'd be... just a fucking glass don't you think?

1 on 1 Sorc has an excellent chance on winning. 2 on 1 or surprised, most likely dead.

Lockdown stops physical attacks, not magical attacks.

 

Here's how intelligent you people are:

A class that requires you outnumber it 2 to 1 to kill it ISN'T overpowered.

 

If you cared to realise, as i do not know the quips, from either party, its best to base things on BASE stats and not glitching / blah blah blah.

As for magic boost, it gives 15 secs of boost. 10% spell speed up, oooh woopde doo, im yet to see a sorc using magic boost(the skill), due to having to have forewarning that a attack will happen with in 15 seconds of casting the spell, which is why i didn't include it. most of the sorcs M.boost spells have very low timers, another reason i didn't include them. Most PVP is being jumped on and having to defend your self before attacking. unless your the one doing the jumping, even then you have such low buff times, its hard to get in range to get the spell off after you have buffed up.

11.5 seconds to kill a sorc is plenty of time, I've died faster than 2 seconds to a decent glad / temp / ranger / [insert class here]

As i said, if you think that playing a Sorc is a IWINZ button class, go ahead and roll one. you are going to be very mistaken.

As for that screenshot, the dude must of had crappy armor on, because even with buffs and a +13 tahabata orb im only hitting level 55's for 4k to 5k damage with glacial shard when they have decent armor on.

Half the time a sorc doesnt last long enough to get his buffs off in time to attack. that couple of seconds im trying to get good buffs out with, i could be dealing damage. thats the trade off.

If your going to argue one class is better than another, then at least use base stats, as not everyone builds the same way, if you have to include armor stats, then your really complaining about the equipment and not the class.

 

Excuse me if I'm mistaken,, but aren't all sorc builds:

- Full Anuhart
- Taha jewel
- Full MBoost

 

On this server. People prefer fenris/miragent and full HP on retail.

 

Well on retail they don't have all stigma skills.. so they don't really need HP on gamez.

I've been playing sorc since chinease beta's - I know exactly what playing a sorc is about.

M.boost buff is actually a 1Min buff.
Killing a sorc is pretty straight forward if you have the right conditions - end of story.

My post was mean't to be on a ''sarcastic'' note - but never mind.

The only glitch i see in what i said was the BoQ + vaiziels wisdom stack.

You're confusing Vaiziels wisdom with the M.boost buff.

and one question. since lockdown inflicts like 2-3 second stuns(correct me if i'm wrong. don't feel like logging in and check description), and stuns doesn't interrupt magic casting?

the only "OP" thing about sorc is the amount of skills they can use because of "all stigma" thing. but then again, that makes everyone OP.

 

Most sorcs also have multiple sets with other manastone builds on retail.

 

In the next game created by NCSoft ask them to give bubblegums and stun sticks to the classes so they won't hurt anyone even if they have to since they're called Damage Per Second classes.

 

point: if you take away Sorc's so called "OP" shit, then they'll have worst defense AND crappy damage. is that how you define "balance"? cuz as i recall, their "OP" damage makes up for their crappy defense.

templar- lowest dmg but highest defense
gladiators- decent burst dmg and decent defense (note: glads has the worst dps value.)
Assassins - higher dps but lower defense, high evasion.
Rangers - pretty much the same + ranged.
SM and Sorc - highest DPS value, crappiest defense. (magic defense is high but.. who cares about sorc killing another sorc)

 

To me - Ranger's, Sins & Sorc's are highest Dps - then come's glad & sm.

 

you're probably right. since SMs are rely more on their DOTs and pets and debuffs. but i still think glad has the worst DPS due of polearm's slow attack speed. XD

 

The fact that Sorcs can 1 hit kill the class with highest defense sends your "argument" crashing down...
