about abg duped items

Now it is so hard to trade items with abg's.. i was scammed and lost my abg hat... Some lost their ABG set reported on repor section..

How will u s know if the item is Legit and not Fake? when a scammer player A trade the item to player B and player B trade after to Player C before relogs or before it disappear...

As Untouched posted on other thread Scammed players will no longer recovered their Lost items(rumored) as it was player's fault being scammed... I agree maybe in gifting trading way but on real trade how would we know? even trading on a known old players we can never assure that the items he's trading is Legit and not jsut came from another duperz...

even i have a Screenshot of the said trading done i dont get any protection and no recovery of the item lost.

How sad, the item lost will be wasted and gone along with the scammer and hard to trace as after they erase the character or it was jsut a decoy account then transfer to their main accounts.. account ban is not enough for those abusers as they keep on making another decoy account to scam again.. IP ban them...

 

you just have to gather enough and solid proof and your safe.

 

I thought the protection was only voided if the scammed didn't have any proof to prove it?

me too last night.. my abg plate 4 parts.... was scam. w/the trade items dup

beware of the person trade set by set w/ no add ..... no add items is the one to attrack the person to ttrade him.... beware of that... hotshott nem of asmo person lvl 26 only

Your best bet for trading and to prove that you weren't scammed?

Video.....

Video...From the START of the trade / Scroll your conversation with the person while your both putting the items in the box / hit Lock List / hit Ok....

Then while your still recording....relog... Don't cut your video till you relog go to character screen, select the character, get back in game and check your inventory.

Honestly? That would be the absolute BEST proof possible to prove that your item vanished on you.
And it would be my only suggestion to help you with the situation.

This way, when it is reported as a duped scam. You can PROVE that you traded, PROVE that you had the item before relog, PROVE that it was gone upon relogging. Otherwise, screenshots don't really prove much.

Uncut, Unedited video of the trade itself, your self relogging to the character screen and back into the game opening inventory.

-Best Way
- Scroll the coversation for the trade
- Add each item / Check Each item with a mouse over while your recording
- Still record the entire transaction (Lock List / OK)
- Scroll the 'new' item in your inventory
- Re-Log to character Screen
- Select the SAME character
- Get into game - Open Inventory Check if item is there.
- This MUST be on ONE Video and I CANNOT Stress enough, it must be unedited.
- If you did get scammed, with that form of video it would give you the BEST chance to get your 'vanished' item from a trade back.

Still there are no promises as to returning the item or not, but this is my only suggestion to help with this new wave of scamming.

yes he is... my 4 parts abg plate + n.o wings = he's ABG leather set.... after i trading.. im going out done this morning i will check on my WH the abg leather set is gone... tsk tks tsk

 

i havent video it but i screened it.. and it is hard to predict that the item is not dupe nowadays...... after trade done i relog 3 times.. the abg sword dont disappear.. then i quit the game i log in.. the sword is still there... then i change char then back IT IS GONE!!!!!!!!

 

Tell them to log out and log back in again.

i didtnt ask to relog him as i never know that b can be dupe... bu t i did relog myself many time after trading.. it was still there after 4to5 relogs... now how will u know that even relog once or twice it wont dissappear>??

 

omg, this is back now? :S I remember before when they duped masta sets and abg u could ask that person thats trading to relogg FIRST before you trade and if he still wants to trade after he reloggs then its legit.. i dont know now :S

about that with recording vid of it , not everyone can do that :S
