Gift option ruins everything

The thing is in this server there is no "should be used on the intended purpose" thing. A lot of people around here abuse everything as much as possible as that they can. And not ALL those abusers can be detected/punished as long as there is no concrete system protecting it.

GIFT speaks for itself; a GIFT. But others don't use it to gift their friends but to gift their selves. And no wonder why I see a lot of people crying in forum asking the staffs why they are banned when they were banned for multi-voting. Maybe this thing triggered more people to multi-vote because of the so called GIFT with no extra 1500. This Gift system doesn't consume much time unlike the usual VIP-trade system that we all got used to. I am not sure how the staffs detect multi-voters but if this GIFT system lessens the consuming time on acquiring an item and send it to himself, he can stop voting after acquiring an item, make an another account, vote for it again and then the cycle continues = undetected. While the accused can say "It was just a friend who gift it to me" (can be supported if his DSL is Dynamic).

Just thought of it logically and hypothetically.

First of all im not crying as i have no benefit from this story nor i lose anything,i simply use my brain to think and it came across my mind that this gift option is not THAT good afterall. Second,id rather not to spend money in order to be able to play a game. Because in my book,it doesnt matter if the game is free or not as long as i enjoy it.

 

Maybe the system never was intended to sell the items that are for sell in Gamez? just saying.

 

It's a retail function that allows you to get stuff in retail's BCT shop.
It's similar to our vote reward shop.

 

You're right it's a retail function, however you cannot really find ABG armors in the Black Cloud Trader shop on retail ;3

Well, what I meant was that they're similar in the sense that it's mostly stuff you can't get in-game that they put in those shops (Remodels for retail, ABG for gamez.)

Simply this: You most likely wont have this problem there, so no need to worry bout it either.

The point bout not want to play for a game is ur loss, u have to deal with this *** and making topic's like this.

Regarding to people are being scammed because of this feature, thats simply their own fault trusting ppl in this server.
Unless u know them irl, u should in my opinion.

Sadly mister, things here doesn't work perfectly like in Retail. They want things around here to be retail-like that is why now I assume that Gift system is implemented right after 2.6 update from Retail but as what they said, in Retail you can not buy ABG items which is considered the most valuable. Besides, these items should be VIP trade that is why the price is so high in the market (which if you read is mentioned as one of the reasons of this thread - the more people to run in ABG/sell ABG items the more the item's value will sink.)

I've got no problems with you, your logic about this matter and telling the author to just go play retail and stop crying which I found nonsense is not going anywhere. All in all, nonsense. I, myself couldn't care less about the stupidity of others why they are getting scammed using the GIFT system, but I believe that is not the only reason laid on the table by the author.

 

Actually not playing retail is not my loss. If i play retail i have to pay TO PLAY and thats not something that i want. You post as if retail is the ultimate game,guess what? Its not.. Retail might not have shitty bugs like gamez,but you know what is retail in 1 word? Its a huge-ass GRINDFEST. Spend your time and money in order to just level,there is no fun in that,you vs mobs all day,hunting for a shitty gear and when u reach level 40 after a long ass period of time you ll be like "yey no i can pvp im lvl 40,then you ll get killed by level 55". Its a matter of taste,i started playing gamezaion because i wanted to have fun,i didnt want to waste my time for a boring grindfest. Good or bad,gamezaion is the exact opposite of retail,you can actually have fun here without spending 1 year in grinding. And thats exactly what i want from a game,fun. And no shes not my gf,shes my wife IRL,and i agree with her last reply,your post,suggesting me to go to retail was a total nonsense,since i have already chosen to play gamez,no point for stupid suggestions,i know exactly what retail is,i have tried it with my cousin's account and i want to stay as far away as possible from that grindfest.Besides,i made this thread because i want to see some serious discussion going on in this forum.

 

This server runs with people who makes thread regarding the problems this server is experiencing, or make a suggestion or simply discuss matters because they still hope and care for the server even how disgusting it is to log-in everyday and see nothing but zergfest. If you do not care like we do, simple: Leave this thread alone! Your "it is none of your business bro" is not going to sell.

i think everyone has already given their point here..the fact of the matter is..as the GM mentioned..it is a gift system..not for trading..with the multi voters...let the GMs handle that..i know that it is also affected..but GMs are working on it i assume..you got scammed for this trade because you trusted...lesson learned..don't trade if you're unsure..i've had a few people wanting to trade with item and says that it's gonna be gifted to me..i just simply say no..come on dude..just enjoy the game..it's free..don't let this thing get to you..others experience something good about it..you experience the opposite..too bad for you..and i'm sorry you did..i say keep the gift system and work on the multi-voters and on how to detect them...fair enough?

Lol well i didnt really get scammed by that,the opposite actually my brigade general Koomz sent me 2 abg parts by gift system and im glad and thankful,but im against the abusers so i made this suggestion cause i think that even though gift method is really good,it should be changed/deactivated because of the abusers and scammers..

 

I am not sure where you got the idea that the author got scammed and taking things around here seriously. A simple thread suggesting something which he found beneficial for everybody yet will end up making people like you assume that this thread was made out of seriousness and not experiencing anything good about it. Then let me tell you, if people like him shut themselves up and not speak up on whatever their ideas that might help the server, you think this server will go as far as this? I don't think so.

Also, not everybody are aware that the GIFT system is not for trading that is why you see a lot of people making threads in forum crying about their items been scammed. I know an official thread from the authority was made to inform people that they discourage people on using the GIFT system for trading to avoid such incidents but that is not the only point here. I have seen a lot of people too getting banned due to multi-voting. As I said earlier, this might have caused the number of multi-voters to increase because with this system it is easier to abuse and easier to acquire the desired item.
Prevention is better than cure, isn't it?

 

Similar does not mean same purpose... the purpose of the BTC in retail WAS NEVER INTENTED to sell ABG, TAC or items that make other people droll and think on ways to get them illegaly... hence the retail people never though on a highly uber secure system to avoid scams with the gift button. Thats what I meant. Anyway, from that point of view is staff responsability and they CANNOT do nothing about it and just say that "gift button is not for trades" because they didnt think things through, and the results are now these.
