Honestly I'm probably the weirdo that would rather have an online relationship than a real one, but that might just be because of where I live

Everyone around me is an idiot, even people that generally match my type have things I absolutely hate about them. I was in a relationship 7 years ago until I moved to where I am now and honestly I became a shell of my old outgoing self when that happened, emo, depression, etc. for a year or so (this was when I was like..14), and I haven't really dated anyone irl since, except for one co-worker who wants to marry me now ._. not joking, and its not as good as it may sound, shes batshit insane

Online, i somehow have a way of attracting people o_o not going to go into details about that but specifically on WoW there was a ton of girls that uhh.."e-crushed" on me. Unfortunately, after trying to go for one I ****ed up. She wanted me to meet her (she lives in Michigan), could've probably ended up moving in with her if things went right, but I promised her I'd fly there for her birthday without being fully prepared for what I was promising. Ended up not making the flight due to money restrictions and after that we kinda stopped talking as much, she got a boyfriend irl and all my hopes crumbled and died.

Since then I've been forever alone :c theres one person I know that I'd do anything for, but shes unavailable so...Yeah, forever alone

Been happily married for the last 11 years come December. It helps that my wife is a gamer too.

 

my last relationship was a year and 2 months ago, lasted a grand total of 2 days. i feel like i have nothing in common with people around me irl, its easier to find people with common interests online but yea, feels like every1 nice online is already taken. and yeah been through the depressing/emo times too

One thing I've learned is to never develop feelings or attraction for anyone that is already taken ;p

Can't ALWAYS prevent it (since well..obviously I haven't in the recent past) but generally for both IRL and online I find it impossible to like someone in any form of attraction if I'm aware that they aren't single.

Its not that hard to find girls on MMOs, especially WoW. The problem is private servers where reputation isn't an issue, or age gaps.

Also not hard to find girls on CoD but I ****ing hate FPS girls that call themselves gamer girls just because they play Black Ops and attention whore the entire time
