Why sorc's are for 10 year olds

A well geared glad can have incredible dps. The massive amount of AoE damage+crits they can put out makes for insane dps.

 

What's funny is the sorc should still be able to win 2v1 due to CC skills lol.

 

I think after 13 pages the results are in:

Everyone who supports Sorcs and Rangers can only offer up bad arguments, with flimsy reasoning and little to no evidence to support their claims.

Everyone else thinks these people need to die in a fire.

Then there are some people who don't know how to read and assume everyone else posting is QQing and they try, and fail miserably to stroke their ego.

Then there are people like mercykiller who don't give a crap, and just straight up tell it how it is.

In the end? The scrubs will still play like scrubs and think they're hot shit. Everyone else will know the truth. Sorcs and rangers will remain OP, but good players wont main them.

TL;DR: we've proven who the stupid untalented people are. But nothing will change. Please let this topic die now.

I don't mind rangers. But clerics have a natural advantage vs them anyhow so my opinion might be biased there.

i played a glad. my sorc is at 31 for over 2 months. my fully equipped ranger is covered by spiderwebs because i haven't played it at all after first few trip into the abyss. i mostly play on templar and glad. and i have to say i suck at it. i die at the hands of sorcs more often than not. but when i do get a jump on them, the speed of them dying is quite sad. kinda makes me understand why they need the 1 hit kill to make up for it.

but of course. in an argument, whoever didn't agree with you are "idiots". always love that about people. oh well, it's been fun.

 

I Agree that some sorc skills need to be nerfed. Glacial shard, and Flame spray for instance. Glacial shard can one-hit most classes pretty easy.

However, I believe that the silence skills should be nerfed as well. Its a bit frustrating that most pvp's consist of the first person to hit, being the winner.

 

No, the idiots are the people who counter an argument with something that:

Now, I'm not saying you do. I'm just saying there is no point in qq'ing over certain classes being op and what not. Every class has its strong points against others. And just because someone rolled one class, doesn't mean they are a scrub. Yes Ranger and Sorc are OP. But in the wrong hands, these classes are just bad. It really does come down to the player.

Capping cast time reduction or making glacial/flame/inferno the same cd would too.

So what if i play a sorc, im not a scrub, i chose the class as i love spells. not because it is a glass cannon, i only found that out AFTER character select and even then only when i hit level 50 and started reading the forums.

If you dont like getting 1 shotted. by someone in nothing more than a party dress. i suggest you play another game. sorcs are not over powered. they are balanced perfectly, they take more damage than any other class, have the crappiest defence. lowest HP's and you lot are still complaining.

Only scrubs around here, are those who cant kill a squishy sorc. GG QQ more, try not to cry to much. see you in game.

 

Lol, so a class that never misses, has longer holds / stuns, and has 7+ spells that can do over at least 4k on a player is balanced.

You may have not known much about sorcs when you picked yours, but you know now that they are considered a beginner's class.

 

Sorc's ARE OP. So are half the classes on this server - Why? Full stigma build's.
Get rid of that & we'll see who's OP, especially with 100% proc rates for classes such as chanter's gald's & templars
Don't give me crap like '' Yeah but this is a high rate server blabla²" - It's not because it's a high rate server that you need 100% proc rate.

Having all buff's alowed make's most classes OP ( I'm especially thinking of chanter's )

@vRisen : A sorc that does 4k/+ dmg in PvP with 7/+ spells is a retard that rely's on his damage - Not on his cc's, which to me is a fail sorc.

Talk about nerfing spells - how about Nerfing Sand storm trap, blind burst etc... the effect's are the same in PvE as they are in PvP - Which they shouldn't, the effect time should be a lot less.
