Sorcerers .vs Assassins

mine never had a problem sorc VS sin.... as i play sorc im not scared killing assassins. u might just let them weave you.. learn to press the W button, just maintain distance and skill. cast skills that can slows the enemy's movespeed..... u have the leap skill that teleport you, robe or cold, frostbite, etc that can sto assassin's combo. before ur stone skin run out step away get distance asap.. what scares me as a sorc are rangers but never assassins...

 

If you're standing still... me on "Hide" i pop Killers eye, eye of wrath, devotion, then rip claw that should be enough to break your stone skin.. then aethers hold, carves some runes while you're in hold state unless you use remove shock then i'll be forced to buff some more and ambush then carve runes, pain rune, poison, then QD... different combos can be done depending on the situation. so yeah, I'm not that good but, sins can win against sorcs.. if you're not MR build sins can beat you, what more if they're pros.. but if you're a full MR one. it'll be harder to kill you. and use wintry.. "I'm not a good sin" just quoting my point ^^

 

sorc has no chance against a good sin with low ping

 

I am sin with ping 200 and I am in set m.boost+crit strike.
Sorcs hasn't got any chance against me. Fight ends in 3 seconds.

Buffs: 3 Poisons->Oath Of Accuracy-> Clearly Focus-> Deadly Abbandon -> Devotion->[if you want, do it after agony rune]Deadly Focus

Dash and Slash (the shield is removed, or it's so weak, so ambush do dmg and stuns) -> Ambush-> Ripclaw Strike->Signet Silence->Agony Rune->Eye of Wrath->Venomou's Strike->Killer's Eye->Quickening Doom.
Mostly fights with mages ends on half of this

And btw. I can stunlock everyone, it doesn't matter for me that someone has 2,2 m.resist Yesterday I duelled with my friend cleric, full ABG, he was alive only some sconds (for clerics/chanters important is that they need to be in aether hold state). Just you need to learn assassin's buffs/debuffs, quickly think etc.

 

Apparently lumiel doesn't got good sins on asmo side then. Everytime a sin ambushes me i'm like 'oh thats nice, free ap just tried to ambush me'. Make sure to use instant cast skills on aethertwist / spell dodge / focussed evasion like freezing wind flame cage winter binding.

 

and yeah its up when u have a good ping when that sorce have 1k + MS and his/her enemy is sin's have only 30+ mS godbless you sorce may god make you bug so u wont get ap hehe just kidding ,.. yeah she have a point

 

Fortunately there isnt many good sins on lumiel lol, but if its a good sin, theres more chance it will kill you then for you to kill it. You just gotta be alert and you most certainly need blind leap and illusion keybound so when you hear what sounds like a sin coming out of hide you can use either of those very fast. The worst thing is the stupid godstone procs. Just check the vid Akiha v Akyliana, its an sm which is abit more vulnerable than a sorc, but you will see the sin wins nearly every time (both good too). Good sins also stack MA so full mr may not save you (when the sin has OoA up).

CAn we hear sins when they hide and when there near at you when die hide ?

 

Well you can hear the buffing sounds if theyre near you, sometime they use an extra buff just after using the 3 which knocks out hide which might give you an extra half of a second lol

Ofcourse you hear it if they buff outside of hide, what kind of question is that, if i hear the sound i press mousewheel to look behind me and confirm it.

 

I might be mistaken lol i cant even remember now, it may have just been when a sin had buffed themselves knocking out of hide (which i didnt see behind me) then used extra buffs, and i heard that extra buff then hit illusion

 

The only issue of Assassin, it's too much of a 'luck' class. If they get lucky stuns along with silence, they got a serious chance of winning. If one of the two fails, well...

 

Very true, i just died to an assassin that opened with ambush and ofcourse silence just had to proc -.-''

 

I have never considered Siel a serious PvP server .... cuz of playing with all stigmas, which is naturaly not normal ...

 

actually the part i find more anoying about sins is that they proc the godstone of silence in less than 5 hits.. anoying even if u kite em gs 4ever there .. have to be on full mr to counter them and even so its hard and then they want to increase base mac.. noob sins u dun need that there are already many pro sins in game that proved to be good with full mac build specially aganst sorcs, yeah winry armor makes em kill themselfs but u have to tank their dmg cuz u can die first.

 

I shall tell you how it is on Siel from the POV of an assassin

Been scouting around in gelkmaros looking for possible victims
I will not mention that the smallest group I found was made of eight people

Then out of a sudden I found a solo sorcerer and I attacked him but in this moment my signet got resisted with Oath of Accuracy on and he instantly used Boon of Iron Clad and Wintry Armor

Ran away from him -you can call it kite- went in hide and as soon as his wintry expired I finished him off

This is the case when you find a one versus one situation

Ten seconds later I found two sorcerers and I was like why not?? They both used BoIC and Wintry and all kind of sleeps and roots you can imagine

Tl;dr With all the stigma skills an assassin can barely scratch a sorcerer unless he knows when to retreat and attack again since Wintry and Illusion and all kind of defensive spells along with the other line <the nuke stigma tree> makes them retardedly strong

It is most probably different on Lumiel

 

Use wintry armor they sure will die. Also use your shields and curse of weakness..

 

You won't get to use wintry armor, by a good and/or lucky sin. You will be stunsilencelocked from 100-0 lol. As said above it depends on how good the sin is and how lucky it is with procs. Not that wintry is even really a good choice on stigma server

 

All of this is true but it just depends on who u run into. If u need practice ill do 1v1s with you until u get tired.
