If your pc is running slow you might first want to check if its clean - like if you have any malware

If not, make sure you don't have any programs taking up an unnecessary amount of memory while you're trying to do something else (like a crappy anti-virus that isn't in gaming mode)

You might also want to de-dust the inside of your PC, sometimes it helps a little bit but I usually only do that if I start getting overheating/graphic errors.

You can try updating drivers or what not, or defragmenting PC.

Your RAM and processor seem good enough, you could upgrade RAM if you wish but it probably wouldn't make a ton of difference

what video card are you using?

If you wanted to buy a new PC you could get something like this : CyberPower Z68 Configurator

If you don't make any edits to it and leave it like it is, its only $635 and would probably run just about whatever you wanted it to for a while.

Yeah GeForce 9500 GT is a bit outdated, you might want to upgrade to a new PC like others have said since a lot of your parts seem to be getting a bit old compared to todays standards, but thats up to you and your budget.

I'm sorry, I made a bit of a mistake, that video card it has on there is terrible.

Pick a different video card on that page like the ATI Radeon 6850 (my personal suggestion) and a power supply that will support it (750W Corsair would be my suggestion) and it'd raise the price by about $200 almost but this time it really would be about all you'd need, and you could run most games on high/ultra settings with no problems.

edit: If you're Filipino then you can always just look up the parts and see what it would come out to

Try to clean all your pc.
And btw, you're working with 32 bits sytem.. I had that and it sucks dude.

Bcuz now I have a new computer and it's a 64 bits system, since I bought it (like 3 months) the pc is faster like a BOSS! ;P

    Yeah, true.
Buy the new Alienware one, problem dissolved ;>

I love you, but Alienware is insanely overpriced. I compared specs with my PC I built for $1,100 and if I bought it from Alienware it would've costed $4,500.

This is 2011, people. PC building is very easy and can save a ton of cash.

Price or quality? 'Cause I've seen some decent stuff in there for like 700~ USD. Assuming he just wants a computer that can run Aion and any game similar, not CoD or BF3.

As for quality, I don't know, my computer was custom built.

    Use this software:
    Tune-up utility

    or not, maintenance it...

    Disk cleanup
    Defragmentation

Overclock it, u can make it 3.0GHz, go to BIOS

I suggest u add ur RAM, make it 4gb
A 1gb Video card will do, any (ATI/NVIDEA)
Are you in WIN7 or XP? Much better in WIN7 :)
What is the size of your HDD? much better 500gb or 1Tb :)
    Uninstall unneeded softwares. .
    Use ESET Anti-virus :)

    Gudluck tol..

Aion is more intensive than CoD. BF3 is another thing. As for best buy, I see people talking about how easy they get ripped off by Best-buy. It's not the price (sometimes it is,) it's the service they offer. I saw a best buy salesman selling a 70 year old lady a 400$ HDMI cable and he basically told her it was necessary for her TV to work. If you're smart enough to figure out you're being ripped off by best-buy, you probably wouldn't be there in the first place.
