Gamez Aion Client 2.6 w/Japanese Sound Pack

Step 1: Download the Sound Files here

Step 2: Unzip the files to anywhere you want

Step 3: Now look for (your driveNCsoft\Aion\L10N\ENU\

Step 4: This part is up to you. You can either take all the files or just some, I only wanted the caster voices so what I did was just grab the "Sounds\voice\cast" out of the unzipped folder and placed it in my ENU folder stated above so I ended up with "NCsoft\Aion\L10N\ENU\Sounds\voice\cast" Note: You may need to create you own folder structure if you only want specific voices. To change all the voices, just simply drop the entire "Sounds" folder into the ENU folder stated above so that it looks just like this "NCsoft\Aion\L10N\ENU\Sounds\"

Step 5: Start you game. You now have Korean/Japanese Voices instead of English.

 

Ok sorry for the wait, it appears that the smaller files change in size ever so slightly and therefore states that there are files missing from the original torrent.

I should be fixing this shorty.

I know someone who has downloaded 100% of the game and is currently uploading... i wonder why people are stuck

Ok, i have to admit that i messed up with this torrent major!
I am still new to the whole seeding thing so all i can do is beg for your forgiveness, i know i have wasted some of your time but i have corrected the problem and have uploaded a new version of the client that will work 100%

For those that have reached 99.9% and/or only missing the Data Folder then you do not need to re-download this client, just downloaded the Data Folder from the bottom of my post and replace your existing one.

For all the others, i am terribly sorry.

 

I'm at 99.9% How do I just download the data folder from that torrent?

the link for the data folder isnt working so i used another data folder that i had d/l'd and it didnt work. my game crashed

this is really getting annoying. when is gamez gonna update to 2.7?

 

I'm also waiting on the working link, it says its temporarily down so don't worry, its probably just megaupload. I have checked all over and all servers running below 2.7 are having issues when they downgrade, its not just Gamez. Lets wait a little while longer, I bet they will post additional links for the data folder in time.

Edit: If you just downloaded the torrent you can just use that folder and make a shortcut of the launcher once we get the working data folder.

worked for the people that tried. its 2.6.0.1 but that doesnt matter

if u have items.pak issues, i left the original as backup in the data\usa\items\ folder

 

When i replaced my Data Folder i got asked to update from the Gamez Aion Launcher, so i just re-installed the Gamez Launcher from the main website and it worked again

 

lol wonder why the gamez aion launcher even cares kinda annoying when its trying to act smart

 

I also just deleted the torrent and even though previously it said I was at 99.9%, when I re-downloaded it it now says I am at 99.6%, so I may just let it go for a bit while I'm out and see if it will make it to 100%. Thanks for your help guys.

 

im pretty sure the old one wont make it to 100% just coz the files listed in the torrent no longer exist (coz they changed)

 

the client works for me, can open the map now, now i only need the file from megaupload wich is temporary unavailable... thanks for the help
