Since the manastone/godstone bug got fixed I've been thinking about transfering to Lumiel today but there are still a few points that are keeping me on the fence like server population. Not really concerned about zergs since they're on both servers anyway but I'd like to ask anyone who transfered if they're actually enjoying the change and don't regret it.

I would say they regret it. Siel zergs are everywhere but lumiel zergs are one big bunch in Inggi temple of scales and Heiron Jeiaparan<->Kishar

I love the stigma system but all I keep thinking is what if the pvp is pretty much dead outside of zergs, I'd rather not waste 3000 credits to transfer then transfer back lol.

I like how Temple of Scales is under siege very often.

Just if someone could convince the Asmodians to ride ToS when it's vulnerable, so i could get a few platinum medals :F
    (Yes, i am collecting GPP)

Edit: I wanted to be at Siel server, just when i saw that lack of stigma system, i said "hell no".
Seriously, lack of stigma system is a "headshot" for the game.
Auto-learn choosen stigmas? OK! But not all of them! It wouldnt be made in a way where u can't hazz da best stuffz all at once if it would be ok to the game.

TL;DR - Lumiel ftw, because of stigmas.

PvP on Lumiel is more fun when you PvP with a Group.
If you're a Loner like me who likes to solo, Siel is the right Server for you. The reason is simple...
Aion was designed in a stupid way, You beat a class and another class beats you, like chain, to make people pvp in groups.
Aion was not designed for solo PvPing, except for Scouts perhaps.

On Siel, with all the stigmas, you can rely on yourself, you don't need others to assist you because you either are a healing stigma skill tree cleric and can't damage for example.

Then again.. there is no 1v1 anymore, expecially after the Abyss PvP died coz of the barriers/low drops in core/no fort sieges. Everyone zergs so u need some serious pvp not every class having all kinds of skills.

It really depends on your playstyle. I prefer siel.
I have a cleric in lumiel (with anuhart gear though). I don't rly like it there.

Healer classes there are stronger as there's no super damage to kill them. If you wanna play a chanter or cleric, go to lumiel. If not, siel. Spiritmasters and Sins are good in both though.

I'm more of a solo/small group person but I love the idea of finally having a stigma tree, confused lol.

Once you will learn where are others soloers, you wil have very good pvp ...

I have seen a lot more soloist on Gelk besides regulars ....

PvPing in small group is an option too ... Ayuu and her/his Sorc partner prooved it in video ...

there is always a way w/o spending a cent.

if u have a friend who is transferring to lumiel and is vip,
u can ask him to bring along your item (maybe a temporary EAT set + Weapons and stuffs) and after he moves, you make a lumiel toon and get your items.
level your char and test the pvp.. (you can always give a present to your friend as a thanks but cheaper than 1.5k)

and if u liked it, then u can officialy make your move w/ your Best gear for your toon.

It should take people awhile to master any stigma class... Not only because you're limited to a certain amount of stigma slots but stigma builds can be unique and hybrid they dont need to follow an entire tree to be good... so people should be trying every tree or hybrid stigma build possible to learn their class well... that's what i did on sorc on another server eventually i got pretty good and could use any build (even overcome their flaws by knowing what to do when)
except spiritmasters.... they got like 1 stigma tree and the rest of their stig's suck hard lol... not much room for uniqueness or improvement.

Is lumiel having the same bugs as on siel ? Main example the droprates in instances like stormwing etc..?
I mean if siel has a bug Lumiel automaticly also have it or what (idk)? i'm just curious cause if lumiel has alot less bugs i would move.

I guess on the bright side it's a good thing transfers are not 100% permanent.

Chanters and clerics are not that flaming hard to master. For the sake of all that is good and decent in this world, I played one originally in retail and had no issue (it wasn't my main incase ppl go "OMGGEEEZ U SAID U SM!!!!11!". It was @_@.)

The stigma system instantly brings up your gaming 10-notches... you go from a cookiecutter everyone has everything (mashedcookiecutter? I guess that would be the better analogy here LOL!) to a more personalized state of gameplay, and in the end if you are more confident in your playstyle than others in theirs... you will outmaneuver them and have the skills to do so properly without hastle.

I have a hard time thinking of going back to siel just for that main reason, and siel was full of MASSIVE zergs... with full stigma? Sure... I am going to have to say it aloud apparantly... YOU DIE FASTER AND WITH LESS RESISTANCE. On lumiel I feel like a freaking tanking behemoth of doom and power. On siel? A mere ranger could kill me.

In the end though I haven't played enough to give you a definitive answer, but I say Lumiel is well worth sticking to. Siel is for "nubs" who cannot figure out a playstyle imo.
