I cannot concentrate!

+10 to dis man new con is a zerg supporter as for me im sticking to elyo zerg 24/7 now since i wont be able to fight 3 rangers anymore .. cuz they never do 1 vs 1.

 

I still got gm powers in the test server i think, if they didn't remove em due to my inactivity (gfx card burnt) then we can test out stuff if u like. I got a non-trial fraps *cough* crack *cough* so i can record if needed.

 

But it's still possible. Mostly 80-90% of my heals are going in, if I'm not fully 100% focused. Of course I would wish it fixed too .

 

You should still have them, quite a bit of people have been rather inactive, and they still have their powers. And I'll have to downgrade in order to get on the pst. I also have fraps though :3 (The torrent version)

 

not from what i seen .. yesterday me and some other random sorc aoe this group and the healers chanter / cleric stoped healing lol they got owned, this will reduce the healer's numbers in game since all u have to do is go for the healers now to kill a group piece a cake if ur zerging them.

Really hard to heal against a zerg when you only have 2 good heals as support chanter and one of them is a 3 second cast T_T

 

Well, I can't determine now if this group were randoms or a teamplayed-group. If second, then really bad. If you have a second cleric-mate or more clerics in alliance, then it should be no problem. For example, before today I fully focushealed my clericmate against a zerg while the others rape them -> their fault to focus the cleric (espcially when he's in a teamplayed-group). Support each other is the solution to reduce the concentration problem and it's still working fine for me.

Of course, I saw that. Chanter and Cleric is a big difference. But u're still doing it good .

 

If I would have time I can create a compilation of current "concentration" state .. me interupting with 90% propability with Freezing wind, autoattacks and so ...

 

keep fighting .. im sure u'll change ur mind.. tho u do have that 700 con skill i guess u do have no problem in this while the rest of us suffer like wet cats.

What if we apply this algorythm for interupting casting ...

Your Chance to cancel the cast would be based on few variables

dmg - Actual dmg you deal
MAXhp - Maximum hp of your target
Conc - Value of concentration your target have divided by 10 represent some %

The actual algorythm would look like

ChanceToInterupt% = dmg/ MaxHP *100 - Conc ..

This would lead to Average Hp of caster : 9k
basic hits 1k, bigger "nukes" 3k +
Lets say we have 100 concentration > 10%

1000 / 9000 *100 - 10 > 1,1% to interupt ..
3000 / 9000 *100 - 10 > 23% to interupt ..

I am not saying this is perfect ... but if we tweak around this we can get solid interupt chance for dmges like 3k+, on the other hand chance that 100 dmg dealt would inteupt you will be minimal , if not Korean Random ..

 

Well, we're going for Retail like as other have mentioned. So going based after an algorythm isn't along those lines. Even a somewhat educated guess would be halfway decent.

 

Well, at least I have tried to give an idea ... but can t believe current state is retail like ...
being interupted on dmg lower then 0,002% of your max HP is plainly ridiculous ...

 

I know. Sorry, I wasn't trying to be harsh about it :3 Just stating the truth. Also, if you wish, I could record my rubbish concentration on Retail if it'd help >>

 

something must be done..no matter how much u say this is "retail-like" i dun think its working like u intended too either. taking into account what we been told as for how it works it dosent make sense ingame and we get interrupted far more than it should.

 

One doesn't get interrupted unless its like 25% of their hp I remember that from retail

 

I think it would be helpfull ( atleast for me, dunno about GAMEZ staff ) to get the retail like picture of concentration there

that would depend how much con u have there too right? we have a lot here so it shouldnt happen geting all spells interrupted by a ranger or a mob doing 400 dmg on u shouldnt interrupt glacial shard 4 times in a row.. go and try it on ur sorc and see.

 

wtt abg cloth to plate leather or chain. Apparently sorcerer was just meant to be pure luck on lumiel. Not only do we have 'retail' concentration now which is massacring us bad we also have broken roots, custom nerfs on nukes and a non working aetherhold. Stoneskin doesn't block interrupts or stuns (is that even retail like?)

Seriously if you think sorcerer is overpowered now on lumiel just uninstall already, it means we were lucky enough not to have every freaking skill interrupted.
