suicide

It's a selfish decision, whether it be a strength or weakness is decided by the person committing said suicide.

 

People can be in that position... but I ll think better of them if they choose to fight it and overcome it.

 

I lol'ed @ this thread honestly.... people who commits suicide have abnormal mental conditions.

why people do it? then clearly they must have been out of there mind. people who has a clear and healthy mind would not even think of doing it. WTF

its not black and white like that, its not about being strong of weak, it depends on the circumstances, if i lost my arms and legs would i want to be alive? hell no not at all i would find away i kill myself, and i don't really care who would be upset about it.

 

well thats ur opinion, i know a person without arms and legs and he has more life than we all together

 

well hes a lot stronger than ill ever be but honestly i can barely keep it together with arms and legs, if i was extremely injured i wouldn't want to live and i think it should be my human right to end my life and not a crime/sin whatever people think of it

I personally feel that it's a weakness b/c you are not strong enough to learn the lessons you need to learn in your life. I also believe if you commit suicide that in your next life you will face the same challenges again so it's important to push ahead and not give up. Nothing is so bad that you cant come back from it, you just have to find inner strength.

If I had no arms or legs due to an injury, I'd consider myself blessed that I still had my life. If I were born without arms or legs I would consider myself to be the same as anyone else, I'd just have to try harder than some. Life is a blessing and should be treated as such. Taking your own life is an insult to those who tough things out and overcome their hardships.

Personally I've tried it.. it's rather selfish, if you consider the people that actually do care for you, and your existence. So certainly it's weakness, no one should ever willingly kill themselves. Of course if they're that dedicated to it, maybe they should dedicate their existence to something more important then their own lives, so at least when they do die it could be towards something more valuable to them.. maybe they can find happiness in that.

 

Hmm... Me being in the military and all, I have seen this right in front of my eyes. We go on a deployment ( out to the sea ) for 6-8 months around the world or where the hot spots are ( terrorists locations ). The last deployment I was on, There was 3 suicides and 2 succeeded and one lived... It's a sad event especially if its someone you know. I would say it's a weakness and strenght, weakness for giving up and stregnth for having the guts to do it.
