Some people react too awkwardly to age. I have plenty of friends who have flirted with men who look older, and then they actually end up being 2-3 years younger than them, and they flip out. They don't even notice, nor care until they tell them something as simple as a number, which then causes them to slightly freak out. Personally, I don't mind age. If someone is 2-3 years older than me, yes I'll date them, same goes for 2-3 years younger. (Well, not until I'm 20, that is) Age is nothing other than a number, I don't judge/base people by something as simple and insignificant as that, I look deeper.

age doesnt matter if you looking for that 1 to be with all ur life then ur age wont matter. ish like my grandad and grandmom XD my grandad is 18years older than my grandmom yet they been together all they life.XD another co-worker she is 60years old and been married to the same guy who is 85yrs old o.o so yeah big gap XD

 

This topic isn't about how to please a woman -.- or am I one of the few who misunderstood it instead?

Anyway, from experience, most women want a guy thats more mature than them (and as Aegis said, they usually mean age by that even if age doesn't really mean maturity) because they want to be taken care of. I'm not saying that to insult any females or anything like that, but because of basic psychology dating back to cavemen (or cavewomen?), females naturally want a guy who will protect them, take care of them and their family, bring home food and make decisions. A dominant, protective male in the end, and a lot of guys don't have that initial appeal to females if they're younger. This is usually why girls care less about looks than us shallow ****s. Please, don't bring up how -you- aren't shallow, because even if you aren't, majority of guys are much more shallow than females. We want beauty and poonani, and someone who will take care of us when we come home. They want safety, a man who will provide for them, and things like that, even if we all in the end have to have some physical attraction regardless.

So because of those differences, most of the time women want men older than them, and men want women younger than them.

As far as the gap goes, it really just depends on the person, I've liked someone 4 years older than me at one point but I personally tend to go for people 1-3 years younger.

Others, I've seen 45 year old women hit on 21 year old men, and not just for sex, but that was probably part of the deal.

So yeah, as I said it all just really depends on the person and their opinions ;p

You kind of want to grow older with them.. i mean waking up in the morning in my opinion to someone who is like 6 or 7 years younger would probably make me feel like an old woman.. D;

 

Well for me, I'd rather date someone who is older than me. Why? Younger women tends to play around and wouldn't act as maturely as guys do. They say they're mature enough to have a relationship. But guess what? Based on my experience, they don't and yes they play around. Its not that bad dating a woman years older than guys as long as they both act mature and responsibly to each other.

If I saw a 12 year old being hit by a younger boy, I'd actually sit down with great interest to see the outcome of this, in the end I'd probably discover all my philosophical questions on why we exist.

Well from my own experience dating younger girls tend to be highly immature and my mindset is completely different to other, i prefer to stay in or go to local pubs etc whereas some girls these days think that only having a good time is going out and getting sloshed to a state that they end up in hospital.

and these tend to be of the younger sort but i can just never seem to find any older woman for me.
