How to change channels?

Hey everyone, Love the server, even if it's unnamed in the Server Login Screen, so I'm not entirely sure which server I'm actually in, but it looks to be pretty cool. However, my problem is that I cannot seem to be able to change channels. It's grayed out in the support screen. I am a Level One Eylos character at the very beginning. How can I change the channel to prevent other players from stealing my targets? Thank you.

 

The likelyhood of you actually being KSed is VERY low.... because everyone levels very quickly.

 

It isn't about being KSed. It's about not being able to loot rare monsters and such. And by the way, I assume that KSed is something along the lines of player-death or some such? This isn't what it's about, actually. =)

KSed = kill steal
Anyway you can only change channels in verteron and theobomos or altgard and Brutoshosin.

Glupyj jaaaaaahahahhaha!!! (Silly me.) I should definitely brush up on my MMORPG lingo. In case it wasn't evident before, I'm not too experienced with such things.

The main problem, actually, is rushing to defeat a RARE monster.. And it not being there. And having to wait around for Gods know how long for it to re-spawn. Or when I'm tasked to defeat a certain quota of creatures, other Players rushing around attacking and killing the ones I must. And let's not forget the stolen harvest points! Hehe. I suppose in a large server with a high population, such things are standard, which is why I was wondering how to change the channels so that I can have my shot at a few things as well.

 

If you are playing Gamez Aion then you are on High Rate servers where the drop rates are silly numbers, you don't need to care about RARE monsters at all, i kill one mob and hit level 6 straight away.

Just concentrate on leveling up, i grind mobs till around level 48 and then i do one more quest and i'm 55.
Getting someone to mentor you (high level player killing mobs for you while in your group) and you will level extrremely fast.
