The only way to counter that is to remove any suspicious debuff with a skill that removes debuffs D: I mean if you see Frost - Illusion, then you can pot flame fusion and silence BUT if the person is not dumb he'd do Ice Chain/Flame Cage (or possibly both) before casting Soul Freeze; but in fact, you have time covering your own silence on him meanwhile ;o.

They do, and we're all aware of that. Also, some of us calculated what would it be if they didn't take away damage, and many of us would reroll to another possibly harder to play class *hints 12k pandae focuses, 10k glacials and 9k flame sprays*.

I think aetheric/pandaemonium spell needs a slight nerf. I know it's DP, but DP is amazingly easy to gain and you can use DP skills just as often as normal skills. Besides, they have a 2 second cast time while glacial shard's is 4 seconds.

In all seriousness, I'm not QQing. They are still the most OP class and there's nothing I can do about that. I should've dropped a nut a while ago and got an extending spear before I started complaining.

I don't mind their nukes as much since I can do just as much damage to them, but it sucks thinking the sorc can spam a few instants for about 4k, then bring out pandae focus/sb and wipe me out before I can even get to them. No other class has the power to do anything close to that. Blah blah blah im high.

 

Well, AS is the only nuke that deals dmg, not nerfed dmg.

Reasoning .. DP is easy to gain works for other classes too it is double edged sword .. glads got 100% stumbe, chanters got +100% attack ...

Just reduce DP gain and it will be solved ...

Other way, if we get another dmg nerf on any of our skills, I am gonna ragequit sorc ... really, we are the only class that have custom nerfs on dmg. I am not biatching about gladiator´s cleaves hitting for 3k+, I am not biatching about temp eating 50% hp on single skill, I am not biatching about stumble rate, I am not biatching ....

Still, nothing is done with those, cuz only sorcerers are seen as "not" balanced. With endgame gear, everything is OP, I won t argue that sorc is top notch, but don t forget there are other classes too ...

Dunno his name .. was 3 star, that is what I remember ... Was dispeling like crazy ... I was giving him fine dmg .. but I can t kill him thru ( probly 400 Maa/Mr diference ) outside my buffs ...
Simply you can t kill cleric t/o covered silence, or lucky GS silence procc in between his "window" during GHP on CD ....

 

I haven't PvP'd much with sorc, but all my friends who switched to sorc told me right away how OP they are. Lumeil may be different(I heard it isn't,) but those custom nerfs are really doing the other classes a favor.

Well my strategy for dealing with clerics is to not use stuns or knockdowns until they used remove shock or until their HP is low enough for me to wipe them out in 1 combo.

 

I read it all, understood most of it, but didnt care about any of it. I dont play a mage. But, I am sure plenty of mages appreciated your opinion of how you think these things work. Not qq'ing or trying to flame your thread, but you should have placed a disclaimer that this is GameZ and things can and will change without notice whether they will make 1/2 the server reroll away/to the class, and the other half quit. I'm just sayin'.

 

On lumiel, you either go with Sleeping storm build variations, or you are glacial shard build ...

If you are on glacial, you got overnerfed nukes, and NO durability

With SS build you have excellent durability, nice control ... I am not saying sorc is not OP in terms of ABG gearing, we got some stuff that makes others jelly before us. But we are definitely not more OP then f.e. SM, or glady/temp on the same EQ range ...

Yea. If they reduce DP gain it would be so great(not sarcasm), since nowadays rangers are 100% of the time in mau form and sorcerers are spamming aetheric spell like crazy.

 

LAWL, my twink Sorc can inferno for 3k non crits, 7K crit fusion Stacks. Evil thinks MB is Magic Dmg, Its the same Idea though as Crit to Attack. Its a Dmg modifier. Not a Damage base, EVERYTHING IS SCREWED UP AROUND HERE!

I you can do 3k dmg inferno, thn you can crit it maximum for 5175. so unless you post here a ss or something it is big bull....
Crit spell dmg is working as intended .. 1.5 times of the dmg dealt
