What nerf ? so far It has been always 50% bonus dmg for crits ....

 

he seems to be talking abt magic attacks and that means mage, and nooo weii coz i haz an SM! no nerfs!

 

He propably don t know a thing about MB scaling or spell crt formula ...

 

Strongest class in aion,by far the sorcerer.

For all those who cry about sorc being nerfed (?^^): Q,Q MOAR.

Whoever complains about LB/SB nerf is just.... lol I've played sorc for almost 2 years (was my main class when I started aion on 2 other servers) and I don't think most sorc's here realize how easy they got it and how un nerfed they really are.

 

It wasn t nerf to begin with .. it was fix.
Just some sorc that are not happy tha they cant oneshot poeple for 15k dmg QQ

 

By "nerfed" I ment to say they think it was or complain that it was nerfed. I know it was fixed and I know how the magic system works in aion. Proper MB scaling is good for sorc's (somewhat of a balance) and now some MB builds might actually be looking into. I.e. less crazy non macc non mb MR sorc's who tank entire parties. Yes they don't do that anymore... Kinda happy about it.

 

Yup they have 100% stumble . But their stumble is useless when they cant get close to sorcerer. Given sorcerer have lots of cc

- Aether Hold (Non stigma)

=Protection=

- Robe of cold: 30mins , reflect dmg & slow enemy whenever a player attacks u (NON stigma)
- Stone skin: 1.4k+ shield. 5mins buff, 2 mins cooldown. Once cooldown u have 3mins buff. Able to cast again once ur sheild is destroyed. ( NON stigma )
- Wintry Armor: Reflect 1k, slow movement & atk spd
- Boon Of Iron clad: 5 sec 10k shield, resist stun stumble spin etc (Non stigma)

=Escape=

- Blind Leap (Non stigma)
- Remove shock - Time space jump (Non stigma)
- Illusion gate - Ran away with the portal (Non stigma)

=Free Silence=
- Soul Freeze: Dmg & silence the enemy for 8 seconds ( NON stigma ) (Free silence)

=Searching eye?=
- Boon Of Clairvoyance: See through basic stealth ( Non Stigma) (Sorcerer was once a scout can see stealth eh?)

 

Agree with this guy. Sorc's are totally op (atleast on gamez) That's why I quit them. They sorta turned into a scrub class here.

 

Silence comparison :
Sorcerer - aprox 1,5k dmg in PvP, 8 se silence 30 sec CD 1 sec cast time
Spiritmaster - 8 sec silence, 20 sec CD 1 sec cast time
Ranger - 5-8 sec silence, 20 sec CD, deals also about 500 dmg PvP instant cast with animation

As Sorc, I would Switch my silence anytime with ranger or SM ...
Having "free" silence or stigma I do not consider it as one of the "conditions" because even if it is stigma you Gonna have it.

In terms of rooting/Sleeping, everything have a counter .. root is countered by certain skills that are avaiable for warrior classes
Our CC skills have cast time that is not affected by cast speed increases also they ives you 50% reduced elementa dmg while beeing transformed.

Every CD is countered by another CD, that is what aion is about.


Also, how can be sorc TOTALLY OP here on gamez and not OP on other servers ?
(EQ is not everyting .. I can own lot of full ABG sorcs)
while here we have nerfed dmg of inferno/flamespray/glacial by 20%/25%/40%, and we deal dmg according to the Retail MBscaling formula ... also I have yet not seen a single proof that the base dmg of spells is different from retail ....

 

Ranger's silence is a stigma skills, but sorcerer's silence is a non stigma skill.
it occupies one stigma slot and makes a lot of difference.
Most importantly, what about other class. They do not have such a benefits for a non stigma skills.

Counter or not, it's another story. Given the fact that the skill that i list, sorcerer has skills & advantage. Unless there's evidence of showing other class's skill is better.

CC skill cast time or not, but a fact is, sorcerer have a lot of CC skill. But do others class have that much? No. Other class dont even have that benefit of casting much long or not, because they do not even have that much of CC as sorcerer's do.

It will be great to have a video of "all other class VS sorcerer" (1v1) Given both player have the same equip & most importantly . Equal skill. What i believe, given a talented player to pilot all class, he/she will maximise his/her skill/ potential as a sorcerer. Because, sorcerer have too much skills and benefits. It will give a larger rotation of skills compared to some other class.

Spiritmaster? Perhaps that will be a different story too.

 

I have played every class on gamez and i agree sorcerer is top tier, together with gladiator templar and spiritmaster. I can make a list of these so called 'imbalanced' of any class if you want.

Haha yes that's why chain is currently the rarest set on lumiel because everyone is rolling a no brain magic resist unkillable tank with 6-8k damage breakpowers.

True fact is

The skillsssss existed.

 

Do i need to go through the trouble of listing every knockdown / aoe skill of gladi? Every self heal? Every defense, stun and damage of templar? Every disable of spiritmaster? Every heal a cleric has? Every class has a diversity of skills and all classes are on par EXCEPT for sin ranger and chanter which are WORSE.

Ps: people from siel are not allowed to post about balance, ever. All-stigma isn't balanced and you know it when playing it.

Oh btw, i was refering of how imbal of a sorcerer. Did not mention other class is flawless or not imbal too.

 

If every class is imbalanced, and in my case i would name sorcerer gladiator templar and spiritmaster that makes them balanced in my opinion, it just makes chanter assassin and ranger underpowered

It just pains me to see people trolling about sorcerer everyday because they play on siel. Here on lumiel sorcerers are rerolling every day, the custom nerfs are being very heavy on us (no aether hold working, dots dispelling roots, inferno nerfed by 20%, concentration not working)

At point, where he stated all skills that make the sorc OP in his mind, he proved to everyone that he either:
- plays on Siel @ refer to what Shunko said
- never have played Sorc

You can't have everything, at Lumiel that is.

Lightburst does 8-10k damage on retail depending on your magic boost. I've done 7k crit Pandaemonium of focus, explain to me how a 3k DP fire skill does more than a 2.8k +3.4k pvp dp skill ?
