Cannot connect to the authorization server???

I'm trying to log-in about one hour, and got this message that I seen for the first time (Cannot connect to the authorization server). Mine problem, or server's???

 

Open C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion\version.ini and tell me your Client's version. If you have updated to 2.7, you'll have to wait till monday. Or.. you can try downgrading your client by following Smartik1's guide.
The 2.7 Update was not applied yet.

If your client is still 2.6.x.x, try running the game through the bat launcher that you can download from www.gamezaion.com/GamezAION.rar

If none of them works, make sure you got .NET Framework 4... dunno :>

 

Ok, at least can log-in now using .bat file, but after same error, seems my idiot ISP blocking something... any way thnx for help

BTW, can I download the NCsoft launcher and put it directly to my current Aion directory to update to 2.7.x.x??

Perhaps some firewall is blocking it o.o i have no clue.
What operating system are you running? (Windows XP? Vista? 7?)
perhaps you'll have to allow the game to run through ur firewall if it is blocking it as you said.

As about the NCSoft launcher.. well, you don't put that in your Aion directory for any reason. You just change the game path if your aion is not installed in the default location (C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion).
And do not update yet - we're going to get 2.7 on monday (Read it in an Announcement In-Game)

 

Make sure that your region setting is North America via the NCSoft Launcher as well.
That has been an issue with some players in the past.
It could just be a client localization error.

 

btw, I don't have the NCsoft launcher in my directory, tried to download it from official site, but error, link is dead, or my country blocked, please if u can provide me a link to it.

That's where i got mine from. This is a direct download link, perhaps your computer's security is blocking it or something again.. :x
Try clicking it while holding down Ctrl xD
Also, are you using an administrator account? (On your computer) or is it someone else's computer and u're just using a normal account? That could be a problem :S

As about your region, where are you from? If you don't mind telling me of course..
I haven't heard of any country from which you cannot download it.

Oh and you didn't tell me what operating system you're using!

ps: If none of these works, add me on skype and i'll send the launcher to you :S

 

Hey, thanks for the respons, everything work well now... My stupid ISP is blocking a lot of web traffic. Seems they got a problem... I'm from Syria, and I've got Win 7 Ultimate

 

Oh that's nice, my mother also is from there, she lives in Greece now though.

And yeah i understand your problems. My grandmother lives there and she is also having network issues. The government is causing them i heard, so the people don't contact others from outside... This dictatory is a serious problem.

If it's a network issue, then nevermind. If not, if it is your windows' firewall blocking it or something, you can try doing that with aion: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-allow-programs-through-the-windows-7-firewa.html

In that window aion may not exist, you should add it (I am not sure how because i got Windows Vista)
I guess you gotta click the change settings button and add it.

I doubt it is the firewall however..

Nah, God d*** ISP is blocking, seems need to DDoS them soon

 

I would try to contact your ISP and see if there is any way they may be able to unblock it, if not there might not be too much that you can actually do to hop onto Gamez, although we will look into other methods for you.
