    #1:

What is the first thing that neurosurgeons do before actually doing any lesions (the name of the act)? What is the main goal(s) of doing such a thing (What does it prevent? What can it tell them?). What are examples of some tests that are performed during this (or methodology, such as cortical stimulation).

    #2:

Give the names of 3 brain structures, then translate these structures names into "common english". Please also give a very general overview of their function.

Example for the names: "Amygdala" in direct translation is "Almond".

    #3:

    (1) Describe how a toxin that BLOCKS sodium channels would inhibit transmission of information, and describe why a toxin that ACTIVATES them would inhibit transmission as well.

Give the names of toxins/drugs that inhibit:
    -L-type calcium channels.
    -T-type calcium channels.

    ... and their general effect.

Such as mibefradil is a drug that blocks T-type calcium channels and is a mild antihypertensive (particularily in the heart).

stop asking for obvious duping questions.

@Aegis: this noob and his legion were exploiting the legion warehouse to dupe crucible insignias, gold medals and plat medals...

I chose some nice brain parts sir :> most useful one(s). For your 2nd Question!

    The Cerebellum(Latin). ENG: Little Brain
It is similar to the cerebrum in that it has two hemispheres and has a highly folded surface or cortex. This structure is associated with regulation and coordination of movement, posture, and balance It also has to do with cognitive functions (attention, language, fear, pleasure responses, etc.) but its movement-related functions are the most solidly established. (Without it you wouldn't be able to ride a bike with less words and you would be Spiritmasterproof! lul)

The Hypophysis(Greek). ENG: Gland? Pituitary Gland? Not sure..
The interior of the nasal cavity is covered with a membrane called the mucosa
It produces the mucus i think and makes the air when u breath warmer and it also keeps the breath uhm.. wet? Lol
And it keeps the dust and other particles outside. It makes ur breath warmer with it's blood vessels.

    The Hypothalamus(Greek). ENG: Chamber
A midline paired symmetrical structure within the brains of vertebrates, including humans. It is situated between the cerebral cortex and midbrain, both in terms of location and neurological connections. Its function includes relaying sensation, spatial sense, and motor signals to the cerebral cortex, along with the regulation of consciousness, sleep, and alertness. The thalamus surrounds the third ventricle. It is the main product of the embryonic diencephalon.

If you put all 3 in the legion warehouse they turn into 30k Credits!!!
