Extendable Spears?

so after confirming that Commander Bakarma wont drop Ice Black and Commander Bakarma spear (confirm by Untouch).

so the only option left is Lannoks Spear. (can be get in game?)

is it a good spear for kiting? a good replacement for Ice Black/Commander Bakarma Spear?

just want some suggestions please.

 

Athanas fate is better than lannoks i think.

 

Are you sure kiting's the right word? I thought extends only decent use was chasing.

Even still the difference between Bakarma and Lannok is pretty big, I suggest just looking for someone to trade with or get an eternal.

 

thats much more expensive than ice black.

oh sorry so its for chasing. but we all know people here are trading thing too OP. so if i cant get an ice black/commander bakarma it is better to use just Eternal Spear?

Yes, because eternals give more attack, crit and acc. If you're gonna use an extend either use Ice Black/Bakarma's or your stats will be too low compared to an eternal just for the sake of 7m (which in reality is only useful for rangers and mages in my opinion).

 

yes the lannoks spear does drop. i just picked one up yesterday to use as a remodel

Yea thats what i always used to say, i even told akylia the damage of an extend is freaking horrible compared to an eternal, not worth using at all except against mages. I wouldn't even want to use it against a ranger.

Edit: and most of the time not vs mages either

 

commander barkarma spear drops! Just not the ice black! But athana Fate is better! I have the Greatsword on my templar and love it for those runners!

I disagree. I use extends:

When fighting a sorc/sm. The damage is very similar and there's no reason not to use an extend weapon vs mages. Mages are about 5x easier to kill with extendi.

When a ranger decides to kite me.

When I feel like trolling sins.

And when clerics decide to kite me.

To OP: The spear did drop two weeks ago, if it wasn't changed, then it should still drop.

 

I personally prefer extends more than ABG / Eternal weapons. Low ping + extends = fun fun fun X:

 

someone just got it 2 days ago, odin something is the name even posted it here and confirmed that it drops.

 

If you jump around well enough people won't be able to hit you and you will be able to hit them, I do the same thing with extends on my sin

Does that mean the Quest for Lv54 Extendable weapon works only at Asmodian's side?

Last time i checked the NPC (Elyos) does not have any quest for the weapon.

Not in 2.7, all level 54 extends have been buffed and boosted to the same/near power of Storm Wing eternal weapons. Better attack, better parry and better accuracy.
