Essencetapping skill

Is this skill currently working? I already looked up other threads and I guess it is still unavailable. Just want to make sure~~thanks guys!

 

could u be a little more specific? not sure if u mean the bug or gathering on the first map. the first map needs a collection skill + cant gather there after u ascend

 

It was 1-2 days ago, because someone came over to ventrilo and asked for help about a quest for which he had to collect some item he couldn't find. (Salix Log). I told him to level up his essencetapping and he said it worked.

Are you perhaps stuck at level 99? If yes, you need to visit the essecetapping master in your capital city (Sanctum/Pandaemonium) and level it up.
If it's not that, can you explain to me what exactly doesn't work? I need details about the issue so i can test it :>

EDIT: What smartik said also. The plants in the first town (Ishalgen/Poeta) can be gathered by the "Collection" skill, which is replaced with essencetapping once u level up and you no longer can use it to gather those items.

 

It's working. I got it working 2-3 days ago.

If you're an asmo you start in altgard, if you're an elyo you start in veteron.

 

it works.. but I consider it USELESS since daevas can morph.. u just have to learn AETHERTAPPING

 

I didn't use the collection skill before my character ascend. so it was 1/99 on collecting skill and now 1/99 on essencetapping.
I couldnt gather anything like azpha which only requires 1 skill point, or perhaps I am suppose to start gathering on something else? Really appreciate the help guys

 

nvm guys I think I know why now, I need to gather at altgard city, not at the village.. thanks so much for the help

 

yeah its the same plant but requires a different skill, after becoming a daeva, u cant gather in ishalgen anymore, only altgart and above ^^
