    Hi there, I'm planning to build a good gaming desktop for aion and Battle field 3 and for the future games. Can you give me some good specs or suggestions. What should I change to have smooth graphics and good game play? What should I add?

    Here are the current specs in my mind.

    processor - i7 2600k 3.4G LGA1156
    Motherboard- ASUS P8H61-M LE USB3 1155,DDR3,VGA,8CH,GLAN
    Memory- Kingston 4GB DDR3 PC10600/1333MHz
    Video card- Sapphire HD6770 1GB DDR5 128bit VX (is this good?what's better than this but not that expensive?)
    HDD- 1T Seagate
    Casing- CoolerMaster Storm Sniper/Shinobi with water cooling system.
    Monitor-AOC 21.5 inch wide LED TV

    Those are some solid items! but if i were you i would spend $40 more bucks for a decent graphics card. This is 1 is actually prettty good GIGABYTE Ultra Durable VGA Series GV-R685OC-1GD Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit you can buy it on newegg for $160 not including shipping but its pretty legit. And get a decent motherboard so it can last you atleast 2-3 years without upgrading this is the 1 im using right now and its amazing ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 but i would prefer to go and get this 1 its solid and its pretty cheap for a middle class motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. Then over the years you can continously put more RAM and add SLI to your setup then you can play all the games thats going to come out!!

    here's what i can say about this..i7 2600k is for overclocking..the K means you are able to overclock it since it is unlocked..with the mobo that you chose..overclocking is not possible..find a decent mobo with P67 or Z68 so you can do overclocking if you that's what you want..if not..then go i7 2600 and look for a mobo with H67 on it..here's sumtin i can suggest.

    procs = i5 2500k 3.3ghz
    mobo = Asrock Extreme3 Gene3
    RAM = 2pcs (2GB G. Skill Ripjaws X 1600 CL9)
    VCard= Palit GTX 560 Ti Sonic 1gb/256bit ddr5

    you can choose other components..these area all i can suggest for the main parts..

    @yourouichi - Yes I changed my mother board to MSI xfire(something, I forgot the name). Thanks for the suggestion it really helps :) uhmm.. I will stay with the i7 cause I want to be updated and I will up my memory to 8GB and to 16GB some other time.

    @Archsatan - The Palit GTX 560 Ti Sonic 1gb/256bit ddr5 is also under Nvidia, it's twice the price of an ATI radeon HD6770. But there is this Palit GTX 560 Ti Sonic 1gb/192bit ddr5 same price as the HD6770. The only difference is the bit.

    I don't really know which video card I should get AMD or Nvidia? -_-

    get 8GB Ram , cause battlefield 3 uses alot of ram , in worst cases it uses 4-5GB. also get a powerfull feeding like 750 Watt the rest of your setUp is nice.

    I think I will just copy your specs in your sig haha. Is your Mobo better than the MSI xfire(blabla)? how'd you get 3.8Ghz of i think we don't have it here. -_- only 3.4Ghz. Is your video card better than the one I mentioned above? if yes then I'm gonna get that :)) I will go for 16GB Ram but it will cost around 80-100usd I think.
