A 2.7 suggestion

I don't know if it's been suggested yet, searched some "2.7 blabla" so I won't look like an ass, but could you bring back the both faction accounts?
There's many veterans having that already and it seems unfair. Newbies are already ****ed with all the VIP trading and VIP items and the fact that you lowered drops so damn much, making them sell/buy some trash from the other faction would be of great help.
Plus this would balance the market for both sides, and make starters here a bit more self-sufficient.
Please consider this!

solution: if u on lumiel, make a char on siel of the other faction then transfer it to lumiel, gms showed intrest on this b4 but it didnt go anywhere.. as i read back then: its too complicated.

 

they dont want people passing gear over through account warehouse to the opposite race, coz people tend to play the char of the side thats winning and creates even more pvp imbalance. right now, they try to keep people playing just 1 race (or waste credits on gearing up ur other race account)

either way, both race accounts wont make the market any better, u have dupers on both sides, u have old players with gear on both sides

 

do you know if this actually works? because i too have been interested in having the opposite faction on my Lumiel account. I currently have 7 eylos, and would love to add 1 asmo to the bunch...wonder if this indeed works! thanks

 

this is somewhat wrong: 1 old players never really stay in 1 side i play asmo too u know and im elyo many ppl switch constantly from elyo to asmo and as of now the wining side is asmo on siel anyway, its not always elyo side u know, to be able to explore both sides on 1 acc is a nice experience and every1 deserves to try it.

i figured this would work b4 gms implemented server transfer so i did it when it was rdy hehe i added an elyo tho i dun play it i use it to scout where the pvp is nice to go with my asmo.

 

only old timers who already had both races on the same account (be4 it became restricted) can make chars for both factions, new accounts already have the restriction in place so they cant. i have 1 of each on my account but only play the asmo, made the elyos to be with a friend but she quit

@Joshan ive seen enough people switch to their other race coz they "prefer being in the bigger zerg"

 

im talking about transfering a char from other server to have both races on same acc ppl jesh and once u have both races u can make any char, except half elves dun think u can make those in aion or can u :sideways:. @ sadly yea when ppl get frustrated they switch or quit if they cant switch they quit lolz

 

well theres a reason why they placed the restriction there in the first place i dont think they would intentionally create a way for people to bypass it and start having both races on the same account again

 

wait theres a restriction ? cuz when i trasnfered an elyo char to my asmo acc on lumiel it worked no restrictions maybe i did it on time then, too bad

 

You are able to transfer the opposite race from one server to another and then have dual race accounts.

Vanyte or whatever his name is has done this and it works.

 

Again, it only further restricts rookies ability to survive on this server.
This seems to have been forgotten by most of the community, but I'm guessing you all want to wake up one day and realize the only players still playing are the full abg, who started a year ago and don't want to quit because of the effort they put in to get here.

I guess all I'm trying to say is.. loosen up a bit, I see so many restrictions and item differences it makes me feel like I'm playing on a retail trial-account. :\

Atleat when you transfer from one server, they let you waste 1500 credits to have both races again

 

Faction checking is done clientside and not serverside I believe.
