Silence never was meant to work 100%, let alone be unpottable!

Sleep arrow is magic resist dependent.

Slow skill's should work in the air, if not then they are bugged at this point in time and will be restored soon. (but let's be honest, slow never really worked that great in the first place!)

Similarily to sleep arrow, for the assasin's stun's, most of them are magic based so they can be resisted by magic resistanct character's like you're sleep arrow.

For chanter's their stun's are strange... like for example, their hallowed strike ->magic stun shouldn't even stun a target. So that is bugged and they should expect a nerf soon.

Added: And once the Remove shock skill is working right no one will play chanter and the class will, in summary, die out.

 

You can't resist with magic resist with stun-locks cause their physical attack skills not magic. I had full magic resist and didn't do anything to prevent it. Most of sin and chanter skills are physical skills not magic skills.

 

If you want your stuns to proc more socket M.Acc

 

Rangers are leather. If they resist magic, it's because they popped their shield. Stacking MR stones wouldn't give you enough MR to even block sin skills, which are indeed often magic based. I played one on retail.

 

Forget it GMs don't have any answer for this. They prob never play rangers anyways so they hate on rangers and nerf it cause QQers.

Added: And I remember testing ranger skill's multiple times... and sleep arrow doesn't resist even if you use guaranteed dodge's for both melee and magic hits. It was bugged to hit 100%.

 

Too many rangers that is true. That doesn't mean they just nerf it to make them quit playing rangers.

Forgive me as I haven't had time to log onto my ranger yet but are you flaming GMs (Who aren't even involved in the development of the core but we'll assume you meant devs and roll with it) for "nerfing" a class by by making their skills work a bit more as intended by the game's designers?

But still, rangers are still very playable even without 100% silence and sleep, though it would be nice with all the 100% proc rates, such as chains and etc. which people did complain about. Don't understand why they would lower a specific classes' shot proc rates though.
