    wow...i never thought there are a lot of people who watches this series as well...anyways..as per my opinion..of course Katerina will still be alive..that's one of the point of this story...elena being a dopple ganger..if katherine dies and it would ruin it...i guess..stefan will be like damon..we all know that damon had his humanity turned off during the first season and then slowly he fell in love with Elena..

    Thats what i thought at first too.

    The first few episodes personally IRRITATED the living shit out of me (even the first episode of season 3, I'm like wow lol elitist retards -_-;) but it REALLY DOES get very good.

    Of course others watch =3 its hot ;p

    And yes, I figure that if Katerina died that a major "good" of the story would be lost... it was be a little depressing to be honest lol. I love that character, says it for how it is and doesn't care who gets bowled over.

    And yeah... Damon kinda fell for her, and Stefan... hmmmm... I'm liking this one more. Although! I was quite saddened when I saw that he is staying around rather than gallavanting with arms-locked together with Claus and causing hell to break loose everywhere.

    do you remember the part where Stefan caught Elena as she fell from the bleechers? when Elena was pretending to be drunk? i think that was the start of it...they had a few moments there where they just lookd at each other..kinda amazing how little things can do to people.. :)
