There will never be less zergs, there will always be an abhorrent amount of zergs.

Zerging is a part of aion. Anyone who hasn't accepted that has NOT accepted human-nature as well as a 'classist' system.

There was zerging back in 1.5 in flight pvp where people whold do "shard wars" for lack of a better term, and since this term was used frequently too then/now.

Silentera kisks would merely place more zergs in the region of silerntera rather than gelk/ingi.

They will all kisk at the very tippy top of their drop-down zones and zerg all day long on that map. Essentially snuffing out any chance of even reaching the oppositions map.

I can see it play out time in and time again my my mind.

I am NOT saying I don't appretiate the effort, please don't take it this way! But I am critically analyzing it and it honestly doesn't look fruitful for what yo want it to do..

But as I briefly stated above, zerging is a PART of aion.

Not everyone feels as confident as their own, not everyone posesses ABG, not everyone even knows how to hit numbers on their keyboard to make some half decent combination of skills that doesn't resemble a giant load of diarrhea. There will ALWAYS be the human-factor involved. And people generally tend to clump up into a mass of aeomeba-like tards for "support".

Albeit the issue with that is that in itself, human nature. Nothing we do ingame aside from classically conditioning them (or you could say, instead, that it would be instrumental conditioning, ) by wrath-of-developering their zergs.

THAT is the only solution. Human psychology does not permit any other exception to it sadly.

I've given many reasons. But like I said before, getting to besh wouldn't be that big of a problem. At least, it wasn't ever really a problem for me. There are back roads that not many asmos take because it's so far out of the way.

You didn't understand what I was saying. I understand that there are, and always will be zergs, that's a fact. But people can't start a zerg if there aren't enough people to start a zerg. And there won't be enough people in either side to start a zerg if it's such a hassle for them to cross over. And if you're telling me that it's completely IMPOSSIBLE to cross over, then you just have a lack of faith lol. Sure it might take a while, but it's certainly not impossible. If they're all choked at a cliff, just find another way around. There's many ways to avoid zergs in Silentera.

I know zerging is a PART of Aion, but that's not all it has to be. And right now, it seems like zergs make up about 85%+ of the pvp in this server. Any solution to reduce zergs, no matter how outlandish it may be, and how low the chances of it working, should still be given a chance. I remember a forum post months ago when kisks were first removed from Silentera, where GM's were asking for suggestions to reduce zerg pvp. This is MY idea, from my own experience with previous gameplay. And in my honest opinion, it was better back then.

At any rate... what's stopping Carl from giving it a chance? If it doesn't work then just remove the kisks from Silentera like he did before. I don't see what's such a big deal about this.

If the people don't like it, it WON'T be permanent. Hell, I'll even put up another forum poll to see who wants it to remain the same and who wants it to return back to the way it was. This might not even change a damn thing, but it's worth a try. That's all I'm saying.

That will push zergs into Heiron and Belus. Lmao
Furthermore, I'm thinking more of the now. And less of the very distant future.
This would be a temporary fix until 3.0. At which case there will probably be even more issues and even more zergs. But that may be months and months away.

Not going to read this thread, but it's pretty obvious that there is only a set amount of people online at once, and the more you spread these people out over the map, the less zergy they will be.
Seems like common sense to me.

rift has its limit. balaurea is still the main battle field. and no kisk = less zerg. silentera has small paths which r easy to camp and ping pong zerg. so kisking in silentera = camping + ping pong zerging. no fun at all. i rather have zerg in 1 place rather than every where
