Stepping Down as Moderator

I've figured I'll keep the peace between all and I'll make this thread. Especially since I have a lot of friends inside and outside of the staff and seeing my color change would result in hell breaking loose all over.


I've decided that in the end it is far too much to maintain this position, I've poured far too much energies into this and I've ended up with nothing in the end but a smack to the face because of more than riddiculous reasons.

One couldn't honestly pay me enough to do this.

It was always for the community.

I find that since I took this position that people have looked at me in a more antagonizing light, which is absolutely NOT why I am here. Most of you know I am studying neurosurgery in real life. This is extremely stressful, everyday I need to make LIFELONG DECISIONS that will impact others.

Oftentimes people say its easier to take the bullet than to stand there as you watch someone take it, that is much what it feels like everyday for me.


Gamezaion has been a community I've been a part of for over a year and a half now, happily.

Despite being offered 'fully geared' characters for merely going to other servers (which will not be named), I have remained faithful and loyal to this server. To its community.

And so if this redname takes away that? I have no issue having it removed.

Some of you may not be fans of me for various reasons, homophobia, thinking I'm a troll/spammer, etc.

But I've never meant for anything here but to have fun, kick back and enjoy my time here.

But as I recieve more and more PM's antagonizing me, making me an antagonist and people apprehensive to message me... that isn't why I've been here. This isn't why i've been here since back when Albull and Chlora were here, since Alente was banned and then taken back, since I was moderator the first time and then had that removed, nor all of the other things.

They say that those whom of which posess no power in real life require power outside of it in order to feel good, 'get their jollies' and there is much literature on the neural basis of this. However, if anything, I want to get away from the responsibility and "power" that it would entail.

So, to put it as bluntly as I can.

Being a moderator ain't for a neurosurgeon like I.

I'd never be on the staff. Too many things to deal with... Considering your education I think your decision is for the best.

Smartik, yes I'm staying lol. I've already been offered/declined a mod position at a wow server (high profile one too, not bad). I have no interest in going elsewhere.

Lol in reality they aren't even working.

Would be nice to at LEAST be given that token of appretiation for all I did, despite having drama choked down my throat from private msn conversations that were mailed to me by friends.

-Deleted a trillion threads.
-Edited a billion or so posts.
-Held much more events than most.
-Suggested valid suggestions.
