Patching questions

I'm completely new to this server after just leaving another on a lower patch. When i tried to get on to repair the game in hopes of making it patch, it didn't work. Do I need to reinstall the game or just patch it? I'd rather avoid reinstalling the game, seeing as it takes about 5 hours. Please help? <3

 

if your old server was still at 2.1 yes it would take a lot of time to get to 2.7 even if it's 2.5.

in NCSoft Launcher -> Aion -> Click Option "check for consistency" -> Repair.

you can also try deleting the files that were modified by your old server or files you modified your self to make sure it works flawlessly.

 

she just said repair didnt work and u post steps for doing what she just did...

@Annykah would help if u were more specific than "didnt work"

 

there's a big difference when you check for consistency during repairing... anyway, we will never know what issue OP is having when it's not that detailed.

 

did you turn off NCSoft automatic game updates? Check it on setting, auto update tab, set it to atomatically updates and apply, then do update/repair. Also, make sure your AION got installed on your NCSoft launcher.

 

repair IS checking for consistency, read the button lol

automatic updates dont really matter, does the same thing as if u right click update

would help if she actually told us what its doing, "didnt work" is way too vague to figure anything out of it

 

it is a matter when she said she did repair, well yeah, she needs to provide more details then if it's still not solved yet.
