This is why Temp/Glad tank WAAAY more then they should. Same goes for chanters as well. Looks at 0 dmg and lulz myself inoa coma of despair.

lol plate has been bugged every since temps got their "retail like" defence, which is BS imo, retail temps get dropped in a few seconds from any buffed opponent (not talking about sorcs, physical dmg chars). They made temps here godlike here, it feels like they have an xtra 25% pvp defence, and lets not forget their insane BPs, they are the perfect character to play atm, which is why there are so many teps out there. Glads are not that bad, imo your atk is a bit too low, try hitting 650 and ull see a big difference.

ehhhh, your way off about chanters tanking lol.... if ur talking about their absorb buffs then that has nothing to do with the topic here. Cuz chain defence is nowhere close to that of plate users.

Actually I was being hit pretty decently by Eremes.

Btw, if they fix p def bug all melee classes will hit harder. If you think 2.3k is a big crit for a final strike with beserk on, you'll see 3.2k+ finals and 2k+ cleaves lol.

They can tank w/o the absorb buffs in siel. Don't know about Lumiel. What I do know is you are 100% correct about Plate and Templar's in general. They get dropped 10x faster on retail. To anybody in disbelief go to youtube and watch Toshi almost get killed and nailed by Simca (A ranger) with Iron Skin on.

Templars do have extra pvp defence....not sure the exact amount but Empyrean Armour (active) and Seal of Protection (passive) adds pvp defence that other classes doesn't have.

yeh in siel it might be diff, but in lumiel combat chanter wont last for more than 10 sec if hes targeted by a few ppl. Support chanter is another case, since i have them both on lumiel and i can see the difference elemental screen makes. If not for that chanter in general gets dropped quite fast.

nah even without buffs, my chanter on a friend's templar hits no more than 300 and 400, its rly sad. I wud need around 1.5k atk in order to scratch a temp rofl.

Without buffs temps have like a natural pvp def buff even w/o a shield. Not really normal. I know Pdef is pretty damn fixed for Leather classes we get dropped fast no matter what.

Honestly its kinda like my thread on chain earlier today... or well chain vs cloth for cleric...

Defence normally should make next-to-no-difference =\

It's simple, if i see a templar or gladi as assassin i turn around, even if they are anuhart geared.

    Lol +1 prettymuch.

I was just litterally just healing zergs in gelk (they didn't party me, the brassieres!).... the anuhart gladiators tanked FAR more damage than me and the only difference was I was in cloth.

I was like "LOL THIS IS SO WRONG".

What it feels like to me is that:

-All plate armors seem to have an innate +pvp defence on them.
-Cloth pvp defence seems to have been REMOVED!
